[00:00:00] Donyetta: [00:00:00] Welcome to Le Twins Experience with Kim and Donyetta.
[00:00:07] Kim: [00:00:07] Now let’s get back.
[00:00:09] Donyetta: [00:00:09] Oh,
[00:00:20] Kim: [00:00:20] Kim.
[00:00:22] Donyetta: [00:00:22] And I’m Donyetta
[00:00:24] Kim: [00:00:24] and welcome back to another episode of Le Twins Experience.
[00:00:28] Donyetta: [00:00:28] Back on our bullshit.
[00:00:31] Kim: [00:00:31] We still waiting on that theme song. Y’all
[00:00:34] Donyetta: [00:00:34] ain’t nobody hit us up yet.
[00:00:38] Kim: [00:00:38] Hit us up. If you want to sing the Le Twins Experience theme song we need ya. She wants
[00:00:45] Donyetta: [00:00:45] you. That’s the only time we want you to DM us,
[00:00:49] Kim: [00:00:49] DM us only for that
[00:00:52] Donyetta: [00:00:52] only for that.
[00:00:54] Keep the rest of your messages.
[00:00:56] Kim: [00:00:56] So what’s going on, miss? I ride a bicycle in the middle of the street
[00:01:00] [00:01:00] Donyetta: [00:01:00] and here’s some baby look how come I felt like the female, hers in a depo. That’s what you look like, I guess my bike. So yes, I feel relaxed and release this week. So I went to the beach. It was a lovely time.
[00:01:19] And then I had veteran’s day off. Cause it’s a federal holiday. So this week that beach trip saved my life.
[00:01:28] Kim: [00:01:28] How was it down in that doggone, Florida?
[00:01:31] Donyetta: [00:01:31] Ben, let me tell you, I still need to pre-record that throat clear? So like driving down, you pass through, of course I left from Georgia. You pass through Alabama and then Rosemary beach is literally, you might as well say Panama city beach.
[00:01:49] So it’s like the panhandle of Florida. But let me tell you when I got an Alabama I’m from Alabama, but when I got Alabama, a bitch was driving the speed limit. [00:02:00] And I have never seen so many because I live in Atlanta. I’m sheltered. I do realize that now. Um, because Atlanta is black and he black, when I leave outside of Atlanta, Georgia is like Alabama, Mississippi, but I’ve never seen so many Trump pits like flyers in people’s yards.
[00:02:17] I drove the speed limit. I was not trying to get pulled over. And I mean, some people had the big ones, like it was the, the ones that the marching band, the majorettes in front of the marching band March with . So it was pretty much, yeah, I was in, I was in a very much red state. Uh, and so like when we found out Saturday who won and like we were walking to the beach, I was like, Oh, don’t be too happy skipping down the street.
[00:02:44] And we didn’t see like one group of girls, um, that, you know, you’re passing by people I’m from the South. So we tend to speak, they roll their eyes. I don’t know if it’s cause they lost or cause. Like they was just some haters because
[00:02:58] Kim: [00:02:58] were they white or black?
[00:02:59] Donyetta: [00:02:59] They [00:03:00] were white.
[00:03:01] Kim: [00:03:01] Mm mm.
[00:03:02] Donyetta: [00:03:02] So I don’t know what the eye roll was for maybe it’s cause the Bay, the suit and the hat was cute.
[00:03:07] What was going on?
[00:03:09] Kim: [00:03:09] Yeah. And stop f-ing with Florida. I ain’t going to Florida. If I got to take a cruise, I’m going to take the long way out of New York. Cause I’m not going to Florida is getting none of my coins, not a penny.
[00:03:22] Donyetta: [00:03:22] I just want to snap the state of Florida off of the rest of the country and throw it into the ocean,
[00:03:27] Kim: [00:03:27] Florida.
[00:03:27] And y’all hurricanes. Y’all need to just go, go somewhere back there. Cause we don’t want y’all. At all we’ll need y’all. I mean, we all, where was Trina and shake? Daddy did. Did you say? I mean, I don’t follow it up, but okay. I was being lazy. So
[00:03:45] Donyetta: [00:03:45] I went on Instagram
[00:03:50] Kim: [00:03:50] cause I don’t follow her ass, but I had to see if she posted anything about half of their post, nothing
[00:04:00] [00:04:00] nada. Get show you from my unicorn. What’s she call herself the
[00:04:04] Donyetta: [00:04:04] baddest bitch and the bed is bitch. The queen of the shallow way to Miami or something or. And you and
[00:04:10] Kim: [00:04:10] corral yo people to the polls, Trina trig that out and checked your daddy. Cause he just ignorant. I can’t even go into daddy page
[00:04:18] Donyetta: [00:04:18] to show.
[00:04:20] Kim: [00:04:20] They were on love and hip hop Miami,
[00:04:24] Donyetta: [00:04:24] but then trip that it had like a radio show or something, a
[00:04:27] Kim: [00:04:27] TV. I don’t know. I don’t follow it up, but let’s say I was from Miami. We have pit bull. Isn’t he from Miami. What,
[00:04:36] Donyetta: [00:04:36] uh, what was re Ross? The boss from his first album, port of Miami
[00:04:42] Kim: [00:04:42] y’all corralling y’all people for this election.
[00:04:44] Like, I don’t know. That was
[00:04:45] Donyetta: [00:04:45] uncle Luke.
[00:04:49] Kim: [00:04:49] Look, where was you? Do the Brown face down ass up. We was yo ass during this. I mean, I don’t listen, [00:05:00] Democrats have not won. Okay. So we just get into the election. Now we just gonna roll with it. So Democrats have not won Florida since Obama won it. Right. Okay. So y’all black folks y’all came out for Bama, right.
[00:05:14] But y’all, couldn’t come out for Camila Florida now, you know, I made a post on Facebook that say, I don’t like Florida and Georgia y’all get on my nerves too.
[00:05:24] Donyetta: [00:05:24] But, you know what I do know for sure about Miami, um, Miami is a very ethnic city. I would say it’s one of those few international cities in the U S of a, but you do have like a heavy Hispanic population that identifies as.
[00:05:40] Like white Hispanics. So
[00:05:42] Kim: [00:05:42] I know Cubans
[00:05:43] Donyetta: [00:05:43] as bad to say to Cubans in Miami have voted for Trump. And so it’s this whole thing where like, colorism is a real thing, but it goes back to the thing where if somebody can pass for white. Then a lot of ethnic groups will take that opportunity [00:06:00] and identify with that as ill, the people they are trying to identify with do not call them racial slurs behind their back.
[00:06:07] Like they do the rest of it. I’m here now behind your back to your face.
[00:06:11] Kim: [00:06:11] Okay. Now, you know, I was reading. And don’t quote me on this verbatim. I’m gonna paraphrase this. But when Cubans came to the United States, they were given opportunities that like Dominican’s Puerto Rican’s, other Hispanic cultures were not given.
[00:06:30] Like they were able to get educated. They were able to, you know, have land stuff like that. And it’s like, I think maybe because of that, they have that mentality that. They are white. They feel that they’re different from the other, you know, Hispanic cultures, which I don’t know. And you know that you don’t watch the Housewives there was a real Housewives of Miami.
[00:06:57] And there were Cuban Housewives on [00:07:00] there and they were like white. They were the white Cubans, like the fair skin. And they talk with the Cuban accent, but they behaved as if like you can’t behave as if you’re white, but yeah. Yeah. I’m at what I mean. Right. So. It. I mean, they were like proud of their Cuban culture and everything, but you can just feel that air of core Cassidy from them.
[00:07:20] Donyetta: [00:07:20] I like that. Cassie.
[00:07:24] Kim: [00:07:24] I got that from Amanda seals. I can’t take credit for that, but the call Cassidy of the cute YALI, but y’all thank y’all white.
[00:07:34] Donyetta: [00:07:34] Black people, the only ethnic groups. So like as a black person, I feel like all ethnic, like all my, normally all non white ethnic groups who like sit together and we down for the cause ethnic groups now feel that way.
[00:07:47] I feel like they don’t,
[00:07:49] Kim: [00:07:49] I don’t think they do. I think because so many other ethnic groups, like. Take in and live our culture. They [00:08:00] live through our music, you know, like they have like some kind of my child screaming. Like they, they can absorb that part of our culture. They can wear off clothes, you know, but when it comes to like us and them, some of them are just like on the them side.
[00:08:19] They’re not down with us in all aspects of life.
[00:08:23] Donyetta: [00:08:23] I’ve been watching like documentaries on Netflix. And I can’t remember the documentary. There was a black teenager. In California, like even Tupac has mentioned her a song. Like she went in to buy some orange juice and the lady who owned the store, like ended up shooting her.
[00:08:40] And this would have probably been like back in the time when you and I were in high school. But I noticed like, even with that, so like in LA shoo, I don’t even have to say LA like even here in Atlanta, And this is not, we’re not doing a blanket statement here, but I noticed like even like different cultures, they’ll come into our neighborhoods and they’ll open up the Dominican [00:09:00] hair salons and the nail salons and the beauty supply store in our neighborhoods, the convenience stores, the liquor stores.
[00:09:07] And then you follow me around as if I’m going to steal something out y’all little raggedy store. Like you didn’t have to open your store in this neighborhood. I swear to God, you didn’t
[00:09:16] Kim: [00:09:16] know. That’s
[00:09:17] Donyetta: [00:09:17] sort of weird to me.
[00:09:19] Kim: [00:09:19] You could have went to yo neighborhood where they don’t buy beauty supplies. They don’t buy hair, they don’t buy natural hair products.
[00:09:25] They don’t buy a permanent hair dye. So you come into our neighborhoods and act they’re funky.
[00:09:31] Donyetta: [00:09:31] Yeah. And I’m acrylic though. I love when people tell me I don’t wear fake fingernails. These are jail males
[00:09:39] Kim: [00:09:39] and you know what? It’s. It’s not funny, but like, I go to a beauty supply store and it’s Asian owned.
[00:09:45] Most of them are Asian on, and there’s a black beauty supply store that is two minutes away. And I’ve tried to shop there, but they never have like the products that I want. Um, and [00:10:00] you know, the owner is there readily, readily available to talk. And I told him, you know, this is like my hair. This is the hair that I need.
[00:10:07] This is the color that I need. And some products that I always use and I told him, and I said, if you get those, I’ll come back and shop here. And I went back to the store another time and they still didn’t have it. So I’m like, what am I supposed to do? Hmm. I’m trying to spend my money. Black owned, but you don’t have the supplies that I need.
[00:10:25] So I have no other choice, but to go to the Asian guy down the block, they say why he didn’t have it? No, I mean, I guess as people are not buying enough of that product, they’re not going to order it. Yeah. But if you don’t have the product, how am I supposed to shop at your establishment? This is true. So I don’t know.
[00:10:45] I’m just going to order on Amazon. I can’t be bothered. None of these people,
[00:10:49] Donyetta: [00:10:49] Chad, I got like five bucks is coming tomorrow.
[00:10:53] Kim: [00:10:53] Like y’all gotta get it together. We try to support, y’all trying to get, keep my black money in the black community, [00:11:00] but if you don’t have what I need, then I can’t shop with
[00:11:03] Donyetta: [00:11:03] you supply and demand.
[00:11:07] But
[00:11:07] Kim: [00:11:07] back to this dog on Florida. Florida. Yeah, I won’t be seeing straight Kim ever. And I haven’t been to Florida in like three or four years and I don’t plan on going back.
[00:11:23] Donyetta: [00:11:23] Well, Florida, ladies and gentlemen. Okay.
[00:11:27] Kim: [00:11:27] By Florida, it was by Georgia to win them. Um, When windows first
[00:11:33] Donyetta: [00:11:33] results came out, but you know what, Georgia hasn’t been blue.
[00:11:37] I hate saying this because this sounds like Christopher Columbus, Georgia, hasn’t been blue since 1992 for bill Clinton say Georgia has Lynn blue since 1992. And I don’t know how that happened. And so again, like I know Georgia for what it is, because I’m not from Georgia, I’m not from Atlanta. Like I grew up in Alabama and I know if you [00:12:00] drive 20 minutes outside of Atlanta, baby, you in Mississippi, like, I felt like a freedom rider driving from Georgia to Florida.
[00:12:09] Like I wasn’t trying to get pulled over out. It was like, Very, and I never pay attention to like driving like that, but this I’m very much aware of like, what’s going on. But so since I’m not from Georgia, I know that Atlanta is a blue city and a red state. And so even though. And it’s a format. So these slave States, all the slave States are red States, so that you have your Tennessee is your Georgia, your Alabama, your Mississippi’s
[00:12:36] Kim: [00:12:36] Carolina, South Carolina.
[00:12:38] Donyetta: [00:12:38] Yeah. So the slaves, yeah. The slave States tend to still be red States. They’re in the Bible belt, um, the Southern States. And so I take Georgia for what it is, but like if you come to Georgia and you come to Atlanta, Like you will have a whole misconception about what the state of Georgia is. I moved here in 2007.
[00:13:00] [00:12:59] That’s when president Obama was running for his first term as president. I am from Alabama, but I worked in rural Georgia. I ain’t never seen so many Confederate flags in my life in 2007. And I’m from rural Alabama, never seen so many Confederate flags in my life, baby.
[00:13:20] Kim: [00:13:20] That’s how I feel when I go down to South Carolina, like I just don’t feel a hundred percent comfortable, like where my family lives out in the country.
[00:13:28] It’s like, I feel okay. But once you drive into the city and you go downtown and you see all those plantation homes and you see the block where they used to sell the slave, this like this too much, like some part of the South just it’s like. It feels like it’s still 18 something down Mia.
[00:13:46] Donyetta: [00:13:46] You can feel it.
[00:13:47] I know like certain cities that I go to, like in the South, I don’t know if it’s because like, I’m just in tune with it, like as a black person, but like some of the trees, you can look at the trees until like, like just how they bend and sway or how [00:14:00] big they are and how long they’ve been there. I can tell like certain trees in certain cities, like lynchings and Hankins used to occur.
[00:14:07] Kim: [00:14:07] Terrible.
[00:14:11] Donyetta: [00:14:11] But I don’t know how Georgia web Ballou I’m thoroughly shocked. Cause like I said, Atlanta, I’m very sheltered here in Atlanta because the rest of the state
[00:14:22] Kim: [00:14:22] wait, but now they’re going to hand count the votes for the Bree vote. How does that work?
[00:14:28] Donyetta: [00:14:28] I think here in Georgia, if the margin of win is, um, not 0.5 or either is less than 0.5 of a percent.
[00:14:37] Then you automatically have to do a recount and they’re going to hand count like these ballots. So I genuinely feel sorry for every person that volunteered for this election. Like it, this is the most re like there’s a man here in Georgia. Like he had to be in hiding. Because it was proposed that he [00:15:00] threw away a ballot or something like they are making threats against these volunteers.
[00:15:04] I thoroughly am so sorry for everybody who did their civic duty and volunteer because you are being taken through all whole level of fuckery. Can I say, what did they go through the
[00:15:16] Kim: [00:15:16] ballot and hold it up and say this one to a Biden. Check Mark next to
[00:15:20] Donyetta: [00:15:20] vital. Like God bless
[00:15:24] Kim: [00:15:24] you hand count
[00:15:25] Donyetta: [00:15:25] the boats. So here in Georgia, we have runoffs that need to occur for the Senate because, um, neither candidate got at least 50% of the votes.
[00:15:34] And so there’s, that’s an automatic runoff. So George, about to be stressed, Joe
[00:15:40] Kim: [00:15:40] shoot, listen, I tiny Monica ludicrous
[00:15:46] Donyetta: [00:15:46] killer Mike.
[00:15:47] Kim: [00:15:47] Oh, all y’all y’all better be almost done. Let me pull out of somebody in Atlanta people.
[00:15:55] Donyetta: [00:15:55] the yang twins. Oh, we could just go sure. Or [00:16:00] sure, sure. Offset.
[00:16:04] Kim: [00:16:04] Woo. Woo. We live in Atlanta now.
[00:16:08] Okay. Before we talk about y’all’s president, we’re going to give you all our song picks of the week. Um, so I’ve been one. My, if y’all listen to this show, you already know that I’m paying for no music. So I’ll be on my friend’s Spotify playlist. I went on a bike ride this past weekend and, you know, we had a little kickback after and one of the guys who’s a DJ.
[00:16:33] He was, he played this old school playlist and it was J it was jam man. And this song came on and I’ve been playing this song or repeat. My book by ghost town, DJs. So you remember that
[00:16:51] like at the beginning,
[00:16:53] Donyetta: [00:16:53] God, it’s all like gate, like how the kids can skate by. That’d be all up in the bed.
[00:17:11] [00:17:00] Kim: [00:17:11] Oh,
[00:17:12] Donyetta: [00:17:12] my God. I love that song.
[00:17:14] Kim: [00:17:14] That song. It’s just, it brings you back to like high school, like the good old days. So yeah, to that song when I opened Spotify today, and that was the first one I was like,
[00:17:26] Donyetta: [00:17:26] yeah,
[00:17:27] Kim: [00:17:27] no me spot. Listen, if you got an iPhone. I need y’all to ditch Apple music or Spotify
[00:17:33] Donyetta: [00:17:33] is the shit I’m
[00:17:34] Kim: [00:17:34] telling you, Spotify, you listen to the one good thing and they know you, they know your taste.
[00:17:41] Donyetta: [00:17:41] I don’t know how they do it, but they do it. I have Apple music because it’s free. And my Verizon phone plan. Oh, that’s the only, the only reason I have it. Yeah, it’s in my cell phone plan. So I have a browse and cell phone plan where I have Apple music for [00:18:00] free. I also have the Disney plus package, so on my fire stick, I can stream Disney, Hulu, ESPN, and I want to say something.
[00:18:11] Oh, So, but yeah, that’s the only reason I have Apple music. It was cause I it’s included. Cause before that, yeah, the was on Pandora or I went back, I was still by album, like in DSA, came out with an album by just her album. But other than that, I was on Pandora, listening to songs. I don’t even like,
[00:18:30] Kim: [00:18:30] listen, I ain’t giving nobody no more music money.
[00:18:33] I need to go see if at T and T will give me another six months free. Cause I had a paid Spotify plan, but I ain’t paid for it. Okay. I got it through at and T but six months. So I need to see if they will re up on me for that.
[00:18:47] Donyetta: [00:18:47] I thought, Oh
[00:18:49] Kim: [00:18:49] shoot. So what’s your song pick up the
[00:18:51] Donyetta: [00:18:51] week. My song pick of the week is love like that by snow.
[00:18:56] Alegra. Who did you listen [00:19:00] to it to see, um, if you knew who it was,
[00:19:04] Kim: [00:19:04] I have never heard of snow. And her name is spelled S N O H in case y’all want to go look for it. Uh, LeBron,
[00:19:11] Donyetta: [00:19:11] a L E G, I think he said, let me think of a song that would be a mainstream saw.
[00:19:18] Kim: [00:19:18] I have never heard of this person.
[00:19:20] Donyetta: [00:19:20] Uh, I’ve been searching my whole, no, to find someone like you to find someone like you, if you listen to some of her songs.
[00:19:31] Yeah. Baby law, but they play, but you know what, again, they PA they play her on insecure, so y’all know insecurity having the ball playlist. So that probably plays some of her songs on. If you listen to like those tiny desk concerts. That you can find on, um, YouTube. She has a tiny desk concert out there as well.
[00:19:53] Have you ever watched
[00:19:54] Kim: [00:19:54] tiny, tiny desk concert?
[00:19:57] Donyetta: [00:19:57] They’re like, I think it’s NPR might put those [00:20:00] out, like these 20 minute concerts. Like the artist will be like in some random Barnes and noble like bookstore type vibe. And they’ll give you like a 15 or 20 minute concert. So like I follow the YouTube channel and they, Megan, the stallion has done one.
[00:20:15] I remember I liked division. They’ve done one snow. Allegra’s done one. So yeah, it’s just like this little bitty free concert that they do at a bookstore two or three backup singers and a few people in the band and they just do a little concert.
[00:20:30] Kim: [00:20:30] Hm.
[00:20:31] Donyetta: [00:20:31] Yeah.
[00:20:31] Kim: [00:20:31] To go check that out. So if y’all want to hear these songs that we put on our playlist, there’s a link.
[00:20:38] If you scroll up on your phone, you can find the link. There’s a link on our website, letwinsexperience.com, call playlist. You can go there and you can follow the playlist and listen to our songs that we pick every week. And
[00:20:54] Donyetta: [00:20:54] you know what? I feel like we should put two, the honorary songs on there.
[00:20:58] Just what you would be [00:21:00] juvenile back that ass up.
[00:21:02] Kim: [00:21:02] True.
[00:21:05] Donyetta: [00:21:05] Um, hold up, hold up.
[00:21:16] I have high hopes. I know he was about to say it. We going to get him the words. If you had Apple music, the words would come up on the screen.
[00:21:24] Kim: [00:21:24] Nope. I ain’t learn to nose, whereas I like my version better.
[00:21:27] Donyetta: [00:21:27] And that was her name’s Janae Eiko, Janae IKO, her BS
[00:21:31] Kim: [00:21:31] back up yes,
[00:21:36] Donyetta: [00:21:36] those honorary songs, we probably should put bad and bougie on there as much as we say offset.
[00:21:42] Whoo. Whoo.
[00:21:43] Kim: [00:21:43] Whoo. Whoo. Whoo records on records on records on the Terminator.
[00:21:53] Donyetta: [00:21:53] I love it.
[00:21:56] Kim: [00:21:56] Oh my God.
[00:21:59] Donyetta: [00:21:59] Wait.
[00:22:00] [00:22:00] Kim: [00:22:00] Juvenile was doing mumble rap before there was mumble rap even
[00:22:03] Donyetta: [00:22:03] existed. Yeah, because remember that song he had. Huh? Huh? You went to the cornerstone
[00:22:11] Kim: [00:22:11] after every sentence,
[00:22:13] Donyetta: [00:22:13] you know what? My cousins, I have a first cousins that grew up in new Orleans and they used to do that when we were little, they’d be like, dah, yada, this is something, something, huh?
[00:22:24] They be like, you want to go to the movies? Huh? And I’d be like, yeah. That’s like really a thing.
[00:22:30] Kim: [00:22:30] I can’t, I can’t.
[00:22:32] Donyetta: [00:22:32] So they don’t talk like the rest of the first cousins. Cause the rest of us grew up like either in the South or in Texas. So they have that. I can listen to them talk all day. They have that new Orleans Twain when they talk
[00:22:45] Kim: [00:22:45] I hope I get the high is canceled as of 2020.
[00:22:48] Thank you still doing that
[00:22:52] Donyetta: [00:22:52] for my grandmother’s funeral? No, but I love to hit him say I’d be like, say baby. I know that’d be like [00:23:00] this girl. Say baby Lord. All right. Y’all we are not at the segment of the show where we talk about black girl magic.
[00:23:14] You saw, you have to last just to see the effects glitter. Uh, yes. So we have to, again, this, do we have to last two before, but I don’t know if it was last time.
[00:23:27] Kim: [00:23:27] Sometimes we just got to spread the love around.
[00:23:31] Donyetta: [00:23:31] So this week we have to. The first one is a repeat black girl magic. Cause that’s all she do is throw glitter.
[00:23:38] Bombs is none other than vice-president of light Kamala
[00:23:43] Kim: [00:23:43] Harris.
[00:23:50] Listen, y’all Migra. Camila is the first black. [00:24:00] Vice president elect of the United States
[00:24:03] Donyetta: [00:24:03] and a female and Indian. Yes. Check box, check, box, all that.
[00:24:11] Kim: [00:24:11] And I, when I was watching her, first of all, when she came out to Mary House lively
[00:24:17] Donyetta: [00:24:17] back, we
[00:24:21] Kim: [00:24:21] okay. How girl came out to Mary will help all whites. So on I’m like you go Camila, I mean,
[00:24:31] Donyetta: [00:24:31] and had a president or vice president come out to dope music since Obama.
[00:24:34] Kim: [00:24:34] Yeah, no. And then Biden had the mess it up when he came out, but I ain’t to get on that, but
[00:24:41] Donyetta: [00:24:41] I’m just happy that Joe knew what he was talking about. Every time we heard him talk lately.
[00:24:48] Kim: [00:24:48] Yeah, Joe, must’ve got some media training or he picked, listen,
[00:24:54] Donyetta: [00:24:54] his ginger tea and take a tour,
[00:24:57] Kim: [00:24:57] kicked it into high gear.
[00:24:59] These last [00:25:00] two weeks, I’m telling you,
[00:25:02] Donyetta: [00:25:02] he has been,
[00:25:05] Kim: [00:25:05] he said, I wasn’t losing this damn election. So this dude
[00:25:09] Donyetta: [00:25:09] he’s like, stay calm. Stay calm.
[00:25:11] Kim: [00:25:11] We got this and we, and we had it. Listen, I was scared. I was watching that news 24 seven to, to, to this day, I go to sleep with the news on I’m watching the news 24 seven.
[00:25:24] I can’t get enough of
[00:25:25] Donyetta: [00:25:25] this election. I watched it like I watched the damn Falcons blow that Superbowl lead they had in 2017.
[00:25:33] Kim: [00:25:33] Look, we couldn’t require an episode last week. Cause we live, we go away to these lectures to themselves.
[00:25:40] Donyetta: [00:25:40] I was like, Oh, I’ve got a good thing to talk about. We’ve been watching their election.
[00:25:44] Tonya was like a mirror. I was like, but we ain’t got the list of dog. We should have went live. That should have been the time we went live and let y’all watch us in the living room. Wow. Yeah, no,
[00:25:56] Kim: [00:25:56] because whew, this. Thing was, I was [00:26:00] getting, I posted on Facebook about everyone from Georgia was coming for me.
[00:26:04] Cause I said, Georgia, y’all get on my nerves.
[00:26:09] Donyetta: [00:26:09] It’s a feelings. They wasn’t catching no flights, but
[00:26:13] Kim: [00:26:13] they caught feelings on that pose. I’m telling you
[00:26:16] Donyetta: [00:26:16] no flights, but feelings.
[00:26:19] Kim: [00:26:19] Dad was getting mad.
[00:26:21] Donyetta: [00:26:21] Wait,
[00:26:21] Kim: [00:26:21] but when did results with Georgia took the lead, right? Everybody came in that post. Like you
[00:26:27] Donyetta: [00:26:27] going to apologize?
[00:26:28] I’m like,
[00:26:28] Kim: [00:26:28] no, I still y’all get on my dog or not,
[00:26:33] Donyetta: [00:26:33] but you know what, Georgia, let me tell y’all y’all went blue, but now you going to be in the fight for your life.
[00:26:39] Kim: [00:26:39] Don’t F this up Georgia, we need those two sentences.
[00:26:43] Donyetta: [00:26:43] And then like the next election, it’s like, don’t get comfortable. And don’t slip. If you live in Atlanta again, you’re like me, you live in Wakanda.
[00:26:50] You are very sheltered. Do not think that this next election is going to be easy. And like everybody who didn’t vote in this election, especially Republican [00:27:00] voters, is not going to come out and give you a run for your money. Because if it’s anything that they hate and Southern States, it is to turn blue.
[00:27:08] Kim: [00:27:08] You know, and you know, what’s crazy people, Republicans voted for Biden and they’re voted Republican everywhere else because all of these senators and these representatives, they kept their seats and they gained seats in the house. So some of you are Republicans hated Trump so much that you have bought up a Biden and then voted Republican the rest of the way down a ticket.
[00:27:40] Donyetta: [00:27:40] This is going to be like when Obama was president, if Democrats don’t control the house and the Senate, then everything that Biden proposes is going to be blocked. Legally just blocked.
[00:27:51] Kim: [00:27:51] That means if another Supreme court representative goes. We may not get a chance to fill that seat. [00:28:00] They still trying to listen.
[00:28:03] They still trying to get rid of Obamacare, the affordable care act, but the Supreme court is looking like they’re going to uphold it, but these were, but you know what, since that devil Trump is going to be out of here, like, I think that things will be different.
[00:28:21] Donyetta: [00:28:21] You, they are going to have to drag him out the white house, like mr.
[00:28:25] Broke up Nettie and silly and the damn pillow park
[00:28:32] he might as well go ahead and Platte his hair up and put on a dress. They going to have to drag him out like that. And I’m gonna have my popcorn waiting. Um, It’s the
[00:28:44] Kim: [00:28:44] opposite. That group chat like chump has gone. Cause see it this week, I thought that he would be an adult and concede that
[00:28:53] Donyetta: [00:28:53] it’s Thursday and he’s, he’s still at, and he’s, he’s still filing like legal lawsuits.
[00:28:59] He’s [00:29:00] filed some in Georgia. He’s filed some and Pennsylvania. He’s found some in Arizona. He is on a roll.
[00:29:07] Kim: [00:29:07] I just don’t understand these Republicans. Like they scared of him. Like you can get on Twitter and tweet stupid shit. Just like he can, like, just because he tweets something like they’re scared of like the wrath of his followers.
[00:29:25] That’s what they’re afraid of.
[00:29:27] Donyetta: [00:29:27] That’s how cool his work
[00:29:29] Kim: [00:29:29] is. I don’t understand it. It’s just like it’s, we’re living in crazy time right
[00:29:35] Donyetta: [00:29:35] now. This election was very disappointing for me. Uh, I absolutely positively did not think it was going to be this close. I did not think this was gonna be a Democrat versus Republican, um, election.
[00:29:50] I thought it was gonna be a moral election and like good. Always prevails. It always does. Um, it ebbs and flows sometimes, but in the end, [00:30:00] good. Always prevails. But. If good, didn’t have to fight for his life in this last election, they are billions or no cause millions of people who think that his behavior against, uh, minorities, women, people of specific sexualities.
[00:30:22] I mean he D he, he respects nobody.
[00:30:25] Kim: [00:30:25] Nobody
[00:30:27] Donyetta: [00:30:27] and people were still, I did not think the election was going to be this close. So this country is morally bankrupt.
[00:30:36] Kim: [00:30:36] We, we, well not, we ma’am, they below bankrupt. Like
[00:30:41] Donyetta: [00:30:41] it should not have been this close. Any other election, we wake up. If you can’t hang with the big dogs and stay up late at night until.
[00:30:51] You know, they call it the next morning. When you wake up, then, you know, who’s president this election. We literally had to wait days on [00:31:00] pen. I have never watched the news so much in my life and I’ve never really been. Just disappointed. I was disappointed the first time Trump won, but now that he has had the platform and he has shown and given us his ass, the kids in every single year,
[00:31:17] Kim: [00:31:17] worse, since his original run, like he’s just the scum of the
[00:31:22] Donyetta: [00:31:22] earth.
[00:31:22] Like I should’ve been this close.
[00:31:25] Kim: [00:31:25] No, I don’t fault people for their political affiliation. You could be Democrat, you can be Republican, whatever, but when you support an individual that is xenophobic, he’s racist,
[00:31:39] Donyetta: [00:31:39] massages,
[00:31:40] Kim: [00:31:40] homophobic, he’s any phobic you can find.
[00:31:44] Donyetta: [00:31:44] He has a tent. He has a modern day terrorist.
[00:31:48] Kim: [00:31:48] He’s like Hitler, the reincarnate of Hitler. Like if he could do what Hitler did, he probably would do it. Like, I don’t understand how people can just put your party affiliation aside. [00:32:00] How can you support someone like this? He is just a despicable human being, like one of my Facebook friends posted that they were out.
[00:32:09] Support and Trump in a parade or a bunch of pickups shows a flag. I am a friend of that person. Like I don’t want those types of people in my life.
[00:32:17] Donyetta: [00:32:17] Yeah. Can you support president Trump and say you love me? Cause he doesn’t actually you can’t, you just can’t.
[00:32:22] Kim: [00:32:22] Exactly. So yeah, if you support Trump, you’re dead to me, period.
[00:32:27] Donyetta: [00:32:27] I know somebody. Uh that’s uh, I, ain’t gonna say a friend in the family, cause again, you can’t support Trump and then say that you are my friend.
[00:32:37] Kim: [00:32:37] Um,
[00:32:39] Donyetta: [00:32:39] And said that you can’t vote for Biden because he is pro abortion as a Christian, you can’t vote for him because he’s pro abortion. First of all, he is pro choice.
[00:32:53] That’s a big difference to being pro abortion. And second of all, you can’t be a Christian to be [00:33:00] a racist either.
[00:33:02] Kim: [00:33:02] Hello?
[00:33:03] Donyetta: [00:33:03] So don’t use that. Let me tell y’all Daniela tol vacation Bible school, Sunday school and Bible study do not come to me, quoting incorrectly from the Bible because I will eat you up every time with fact, on fact on fact,
[00:33:21] Kim: [00:33:21] and don’t come back to me unless I send for you.
[00:33:24] And even then
[00:33:25] Donyetta: [00:33:25] you should think about it. What you about to do. Evaluate. So like you cannot be a Christian and be a racist and the same, and let’s be clear. Jesus was a person of color. I’m not even going to say Jesus was black. He was, Jesus was a person of color. So you can not be for somebody who was about the oppression of black people, Asian people, Hispanic people, every minority in the book, and then call yourself a Christian and a lover of God.
[00:33:58] Kim: [00:33:58] I don’t guess
[00:34:00] [00:33:59] Donyetta: [00:33:59] I can’t, I will not,
[00:34:02] Kim: [00:34:02] but let them tell it, they Bible and talk their nonsense and we just gonna. Runaway with this election rights to the white house.
[00:34:21] Donyetta: [00:34:21] What’s your favorite song to play on the playlist
[00:34:29] over black girl magic to do, um, A rant, but it was much needed,
[00:34:34] Kim: [00:34:34] you know? And if, if you, someone out there got some hookup with some inauguration tickets holla at your girl, because my, in it, as a representative, they must some bullshit telling, you know, you can only get tickets through your, your elected officials, Chuck Schumer.
[00:34:51] He’s wanted to send him to this from New York. He did a lottery. It’s done by the time I went in, have I don’t even know. It just said the lottery is [00:35:00] over for an organization ticket done. And my other Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, she don’t have nothing up on her side. I don’t know what’s going on with her.
[00:35:08] I contacted my local representative. He took down my information and said, we know how many tickets we’re
[00:35:14] Donyetta: [00:35:14] going to get just yet, but we’re going to put you on the list.
[00:35:16] Kim: [00:35:16] I’m number 71 on the list. I like it. Somebody hook, yes, girl, up with something and listen, the hotels in DC, a like a thousand dollars a night.
[00:35:29] Donyetta: [00:35:29] That’s like super bowl prices. At the
[00:35:32] Kim: [00:35:32] cheapest hotel was the days. And when I left three days ago, it was $300. Today is $500 for the days.
[00:35:40] Donyetta: [00:35:40] Ho tell Mo tell how the day Ian, she would,
[00:35:45] Kim: [00:35:45] if I do make it, you know, we’re all going to be in Maryland somewhere.
[00:35:49] Donyetta: [00:35:49] As I say, how far is Philly from DC?
[00:35:53] Kim: [00:35:53] Philly is too far.
[00:35:54] You got to stay in like Maryland, the DMV. So DC, Maryland, Virginia area.
[00:36:00] [00:36:00] Donyetta: [00:36:00] It’s like, they’re all,
[00:36:02] Kim: [00:36:02] they’re all connected. I guess. That’s the black part though? The DMV. Yeah. You ain’t like driving through you’re in the Metro kind of area, but we’ll see what happens if you see your girl at, in DC for the inauguration.
[00:36:18] It ain’t looking good right now.
[00:36:20] Donyetta: [00:36:20] I watched the news after they announced that, um, They just called it and said that, uh, Biden had won the election and everybody out in the street had on masks. I said them Democrats out there on the streets. Cause the Republicans y’all be wearing a mask. That’s why what’s, wasn’t saying and got COVID what’s his name?
[00:36:37] Little buddy. He’s overheard housing and urban fit. I’ll go
[00:36:42] Kim: [00:36:42] bed. I can’t with these P and then Mike Pence was at a meeting with the COVID task force and he’s at the head of the table with no mask. And his assistant is off at the side with no mask and everyone else in the room is masked up. So dr. [00:37:00] Fowchee was massed up.
[00:37:01] You know, the woman that was sitting in the corner when Trump was like, can we pump bleach into their veins? That lady remember her?
[00:37:09] Donyetta: [00:37:09] She was take a second. My why
[00:37:13] Kim: [00:37:13] mask? And like everyone on the task force had their mask on in that Petri dish of a white house. Cause even, um, Trump’s chief of staff has COVID.
[00:37:25] Like that whole white house needs to be before Biden comes in there. I’m going to hand us in the pest control. What else can I send over there?
[00:37:34] Donyetta: [00:37:34] He might have to live down the street in a different house because y’all the secret service. Like if he doesn’t leave best trust, but the secret service will escort you out.
[00:37:45] Kim: [00:37:45] Yeah. I have to go stay at Obama’s house until they disinfect that holdover white house, because I wouldn’t go up in there. Shoot.
[00:37:51] Donyetta: [00:37:51] I don’t have to swear him in. On the campus of Howard university, because when I tell y’all Trump, literally go watch the color [00:38:00] purple and Nettie and silly fought for their lives to not be separated.
[00:38:05] Kim: [00:38:05] No, I think he’s going to sneak out from out. I think he’s going to go to inauguration
[00:38:10] Donyetta: [00:38:10] pool
[00:38:11] Kim: [00:38:11] Trump.
[00:38:12] Donyetta: [00:38:12] Oh, for sure. He’s not going to go, but he’s just going to be a squatter in the house. He’s not going to
[00:38:17] Kim: [00:38:17] no, he going to sneak out through those tunnels underground and he going to leave, flee the country because they don’t try to arrest his ass.
[00:38:23] They want them I’m Olivia
[00:38:24] Donyetta: [00:38:24] Pope tunnels off the scandal
[00:38:31] is not going to go. He going to be like, what’s her name? Nephi on dream girl. When they tried to kick her out?
[00:38:37] Kim: [00:38:37] No, no, no, no. I watched that on a plane coming back from Cancun. The
[00:38:42] Donyetta: [00:38:42] last time I was thinking of the play, people were like, looking at me. I’m like,
[00:38:46] Kim: [00:38:46] this is dream girls. I will sing this song about
[00:38:50] Donyetta: [00:38:50] fireman, that song.
[00:38:53] Kim: [00:38:53] Oh, my God. I just don’t know what’s going to happen. This is crazy.
[00:38:58] Donyetta: [00:38:58] It’s gonna be hot and it’s going to [00:39:00] be a mess. He,
[00:39:01] Kim: [00:39:01] I just realized I got two watches on
[00:39:05] Donyetta: [00:39:05] records. All records, all records.
[00:39:08] Kim: [00:39:08] Who do we have
[00:39:09] Donyetta: [00:39:09] next up for black girl, man. Seborrhea majors. Yo. So Berea majors, I didn’t know her from being a model for a Rian Rhianna’s Fenty her lingerie line.
[00:39:27] Kim: [00:39:27] So
[00:39:27] Donyetta: [00:39:27] Bria was just
[00:39:28] Kim: [00:39:28] cause she looked familiar. I’m like, wait, do I know this girl from
[00:39:32] Donyetta: [00:39:32] she’s a model? What I tell y’all she has become the reincarnation of all things beyond say what she had, like $80,000 budget. Listen,
[00:39:41] Kim: [00:39:41] when I saw the video, I said to be honest, I put on that much
[00:39:44] Donyetta: [00:39:44] weight. That was all I was thinking.
[00:39:47] I’d say she did. She re recreated, formation, everything, everything. She goes
[00:39:55] Kim: [00:39:55] crazy and love. She did every Beyonce video. I [00:40:00] need y’all to go to her Instagram. Her name is T a B R I a majors, maj O R S. This girl,
[00:40:10] Donyetta: [00:40:10] she won Halloween, said she won Halloween baby,
[00:40:15] Kim: [00:40:15] listen, home girl, who she has got Shamani. Cause I don’t know how she made all those videos.
[00:40:20] Donyetta: [00:40:20] Like she even did, um, something from blackness King. Like she, uh, she said she went over budget. Uh, but I think our budget was like 18 or $20,000 back. She won Halloween and we’re late getting to it because like we said, we was on vacation last week, processing the election. Uh, but she won Halloween and we got, we got to give her a hug and she
[00:40:41] Kim: [00:40:41] is beautiful.
[00:40:42] She
[00:40:43] Donyetta: [00:40:43] is a thick
[00:40:44] Kim: [00:40:44] woman. She is, I love it. I’m loving that fellas. Let me see. Let me see who follow her, who I follow. I’m gonna say y’all name too.
[00:40:55] Donyetta: [00:40:55] Yeah.
[00:41:00] [00:40:59] Kim: [00:40:59] keep and have me rotation or like
[00:41:08] majestic link stocks
[00:41:12] Donyetta: [00:41:12] bid
[00:41:18] you listed it all down. Oh Dell or the list.
[00:41:30] I see all the yard. I see you.
[00:41:34] Kim: [00:41:34] Hm. Hm. But kudos to her. I’m loving everything she’s doing. She’s a model, so, Oh, she’s got a podcast, the thick podcast.
[00:41:45] Donyetta: [00:41:45] Oh, this is a scribe today. Y’all know. I love me a podcast, David.
[00:41:50] A
[00:41:50] Kim: [00:41:50] weekly conversation about life, love, life and light bulb.
[00:41:57] Donyetta: [00:41:57] Now
[00:41:58] Kim: [00:41:58] shower us with [00:42:00] gifts. We need to put out PO box on the, um, M
[00:42:04] Donyetta: [00:42:04] and our hands.
[00:42:06] Kim: [00:42:06] Yes. Show us
[00:42:07] Donyetta: [00:42:07] the gifts we need to let’s ways, experience cash out.
[00:42:10] Kim: [00:42:10] You know
[00:42:12] Donyetta: [00:42:12] how that a plan when you see me on the street, right.
[00:42:16] Kim: [00:42:16] I would just change my cash app name from straight Kim till late. Someone’s experienced send us the
[00:42:20] Donyetta: [00:42:20] money I will
[00:42:22] Kim: [00:42:22] work.
[00:42:24] Donyetta: [00:42:24] Let’s see. Next up we have what arc does on social media this week.
[00:42:29] Kim: [00:42:29] And for once water for once nothing is Ark me
[00:42:35] Donyetta: [00:42:35] as my time to shine
[00:42:38] Kim: [00:42:38] on your Mark out at you this week.
[00:42:41] Donyetta: [00:42:41] So this is going to be, be as much of a I’m. Ain’t gonna say it irked me as much as it perplexes me and we hinted on it earlier. So this week a person that I went to high school with sent me a friend request.
[00:42:55] And when I, when I was trying to make sure that it was who I thought it was, [00:43:00] I scroll through their timeline a little bit, and I just scrolled up once. And I saw a Trump Pence endorsement, and the person was like doing the thumbs up like this. Um, the person who sent me the from request is a white male.
[00:43:14] And so that made me think about what we said earlier. Can you say that you are my friend when you openly support somebody who is so. Against people who look like me, um, whether it be the color of my skin or my, uh, gender.
[00:43:37] Kim: [00:43:37] And I did send me a text, she said, should I accept this person? I said, hell no,
[00:43:41] Donyetta: [00:43:41] no, no, no
[00:43:45] Kim: [00:43:45] friends like that.
[00:43:47] Donyetta: [00:43:47] So
[00:43:47] Kim: [00:43:47] I don’t have friends like that.
[00:43:49] Donyetta: [00:43:49] And people think, well, I don’t feel that way. That would be like me openly. I think like people supporting Donald Trump is like people [00:44:00] support openly supporting Adolf Hitler.
[00:44:02] Openly supporting the KKK, um, openly supporting people who feel like it’s okay to do hate crimes against ethnic groups and, uh, sexual orientation. Like the true definition of a friend are just as a good person. Even if something is not directly affecting or oppressing me, I feel like it’s my responsibility to stand up and be like, that’s not right.
[00:44:29] You don’t like, if you, like, if you co-sign like you’re consenting to that, you’re condoning that behavior.
[00:44:38] Kim: [00:44:38] I don’t understand what people think. Like support. Why do you got it? Support your local Senator, put up a picture with him. Like why on earth would you support this man? And if you support this man, you don’t support me here. We hear this.
[00:44:57] Donyetta: [00:44:57] I know people who have [00:45:00] relationships and babies with black women who went and voted for Donald Trump.
[00:45:06] And at this point, again, it’s not a Republican Democrat. If you’re in a certain tax bracket and you want to vote Republican, any other election edit. I don’t care how high my tab tax bracket get. I’m not voting for somebody who is a terrorist and I hate it. All groups of people
[00:45:25] Kim: [00:45:25] you keep seeing people say, well, my 401k went up while Donald Trump is president
[00:45:31] Donyetta: [00:45:31] and he called it rates.
[00:45:33] Kim: [00:45:33] You know, is our oil, is, is that how shallow and weak you are? Is that all you care about as well, work, another six months to get your 401k, to make up? What, what you going to lose when you know Biden comes in or we live in longer than we have ever lived before work a little bit more to make a little more like when you put your.
[00:45:54] Pocket book above humanity, something wrong with you. right.
[00:46:00] [00:46:00] Donyetta: [00:46:00] And a lot of y’all that are voting for like the policies and plans that are implemented to give people tax breaks. I’m so sorry to have to be the one to tell you this. You’re not in that tax bracket, sweetie. No,
[00:46:16] Kim: [00:46:16] that’s that’s that’s tax cuts, but have y’all have you people you commoners, including us, have you noticed that?
[00:46:24] Yes, you may have, you may get a little bit more in your paycheck every week, but when it’s time to, to, um, file your taxes, have you noticed that you’ve been paying more taxes? You again, refunds that you used to get. Have you noticed that those are those tax breaks that Donald Trump gave to the wealthy and made you think that you were getting as well?
[00:46:46] Because you were seeing more money throughout the year, but at the end of the year you’ve been paying back taxes or if you were getting a refund, you have gotten less. Than what you used to
[00:46:58] Donyetta: [00:46:58] get Bubba [00:47:00] who is in us, a southerner, that’s a Republican, and it’s nothing wrong with having any type of job, but these little five figure jobs y’all got and these four figure jobs y’all got, and I’m not talking to her paycheck, I’m talking to her and a salary.
[00:47:14] That’s not the tax bracket that it’s benefiting Kim and I are upper middle class and we ain’t in a tax bracket. That’s benefiting.
[00:47:22] Kim: [00:47:22] All right, let’s get into our bullshit of the week. Hmm, what
[00:47:26] Donyetta: [00:47:26] we get
[00:47:29] Kim: [00:47:29] first off, little old rage in a Carter. And I still look at her as a little girl. You still that little girl that let him go.
[00:47:37] And he used to bring on stage. I can’t. So she went and got breast implants
[00:47:44] Donyetta: [00:47:44] before. Let me look, let me look at these breasts.
[00:47:48] Kim: [00:47:48] I don’t even know
[00:47:50] Donyetta: [00:47:50] why does she have an attendee? How old is she? She can’t be there. Oh,
[00:48:01] [00:48:00] she’s about to be 22. She said I’ve been waiting to get my breasts done since I was probably like 16. Okay.
[00:48:08] Kim: [00:48:08] Told me mama got them done. So she’s following her example. Right?
[00:48:13] Donyetta: [00:48:13] I said, let me tell, y’all be careful. Cause I remember, I was like, when I get my MBA, I’ll get me a red BMW and I’m against some breast implants and I didn’t.
[00:48:26] And let me tell you what happened when I became 39. My chest blew up. So at some point in her life, she is probably going to be like, Whoa, Whoa. When you can’t start wearing like suits, it was, she probably won’t wear a suit, but like certain clothes or when I became a runner, I was so happy to be a B cup back in the day.
[00:48:51] But you know, the
[00:48:51] Kim: [00:48:51] problem with when you get implants, you got to get them redone every 10 years. Right. They don’t last forever. [00:49:00] They do. So, number one, you gotta have to keep going under the life for the rest of your life until you take them out because eventually you’re going to take them out
[00:49:09] Donyetta: [00:49:09] and then that’s it.
[00:49:11] Kim: [00:49:11] And number two, you’re only 20 years old. So he’s fully developed
[00:49:16] Donyetta: [00:49:16] and you didn’t even have kids yet, like you
[00:49:18] Kim: [00:49:18] suppose a way into the titties and okay. Let me give you some advice out here for a woman that has had two children. Naturally my first child as a not breastfeed. And when I came out, I had a nice plumpy C cup and they was nice.
[00:49:36] Donyetta: [00:49:36] They was lying.
[00:49:37] Kim: [00:49:37] Right. My second child, I breastfed and he took all of the, this is a push-up bra
[00:49:45] Donyetta: [00:49:45] at her all. So many people say that
[00:49:49] Kim: [00:49:49] I know breastfeeding is good for the child, but the mama got to live after the child has passed one Similac and Enfamil work. Just to say, my first son, [00:50:00] he is fine.
[00:50:01] Donyetta: [00:50:01] I heard people say, like, they might’ve been a C before they had their baby.
[00:50:05] And then after their baby, they weren’t even an a cup anymore. So I do know women who have had kids that had to get a breast implants just so they could wear their clothes, not even on like any like vanity type thing, but they literally say their breasts shrunk like one or two sizes.
[00:50:20] Kim: [00:50:20] It does, if you’re not, if you don’t have a lot of weight on you or have really big breasts beforehand, like breastfeeding takes all your value.
[00:50:29] Not
[00:50:29] Donyetta: [00:50:29] all of it, but a lot of it I was going to have a friend who wasn’t even in a cup after she breastfed.
[00:50:39] Kim: [00:50:39] Ooh.
[00:50:40] Donyetta: [00:50:40] And she was like, uh, um, a small Cecil B before, you know, she’s had a nice natural size and she said she couldn’t even wear her shirts anymore. They just would concave
[00:50:52] Kim: [00:50:52] that’s what happens. So don’t, I mean, breastfeeding is good for the baby.
[00:50:55] So they say, I don’t know who they is. Like I know some women that were [00:51:00] hefty before and they had big boobs and they just still have it when, after they breastfeed that just some women,
[00:51:05] Donyetta: [00:51:05] they get back up.
[00:51:07] Kim: [00:51:07] But when you’re fit and you’re not like heavy set, like good luck with keeping all that on books.
[00:51:12] Cause it’s just, it ain’t going to happen. Look, look, I did a triathlon when I was six months pregnant. One time. Yes girl. Once I dropped my baby, I went to, um, my son was born in July. I was on the beach in December. With big ass titties and a flat stomach
[00:51:32] Donyetta: [00:51:32] almost spit up.
[00:51:36] I looked back at the pictures and
[00:51:38] Kim: [00:51:38] I was, I was pumping on that trip. Cause you know, when you breastfeed, you got a pump.
[00:51:42] Donyetta: [00:51:42] I heard it, I got it pumped constantly.
[00:51:45] Kim: [00:51:45] You get in Gorge and this thought it gets hard and it hurts even when you’re away from your kid, you have to breastfeed
[00:51:52] Donyetta: [00:51:52] and you can tell when they get hungry because.
[00:51:54] Even if you’re a part like it’s just that mother child thing, your breast milk. Yeah. It’s [00:52:00] awesome.
[00:52:05] I mean, like from a science perspective, like even when you’re apart, like I’ve heard people say, Oh, I can tell it’s time for my baby to eat.
[00:52:15] Kim: [00:52:15] That’s why you see all of these fitness girls on Instagram, the ones who have babies, they have implants. A lot of them have implants. Even when they don’t have kids, let them have implants, but yeah, back to raise your name. It just,
[00:52:28] Donyetta: [00:52:28] she should have waited till she got all like me. Cause sometimes it’s going to hit sooner.
[00:52:32] Is she short too? So she go gain weight.
[00:52:36] Kim: [00:52:36] She was like
[00:52:36] Donyetta: [00:52:36] open Loompa. Cause her daddy, I don’t I’m five, five. And I think I’m telling her, her daddy, they all show us
[00:52:42] Kim: [00:52:42] a mama and the daddy short. So yeah, I don’t know.
[00:52:46] Donyetta: [00:52:46] That’s what it’s like growing up in this world where everybody on Instagram as a model, you be thinking.
[00:52:52] Let me tell y’all everybody that I know that naturally has big breasts and number one, they look sloppy and number two, they don’t
[00:53:05] [00:53:00] Kim: [00:53:05] no comment out of me. No, no comment.
[00:53:10] Donyetta: [00:53:10] I literally know people who are getting breast reductions cause they talking about, they brought number one, they brawls cost a lot of money. Number two, the brush straps are like creating like permanent indentions in their shoulders. Like I know a lot of women who have gotten breast reductions and it has been enough to take out that their medical insurance covers it.
[00:53:31] Cause it’s not at that point, it’s not a vanity surgery. It, it really does cause like setbacks and like their, um, their health and like their mobility.
[00:53:41] Kim: [00:53:41] Listen, my mama had a breast reduction. I’m the only one in the family on a I B TC.
[00:53:50] Donyetta: [00:53:50] Yeah,
[00:53:52] Kim: [00:53:52] itty bitty shitty committee. I’ll be the only way everyone, my brother and my sister, they have, my sister has like, was passed D that’s what she has
[00:54:00] [00:54:00] Donyetta: [00:54:00] palace sisters, a double day that was like done yet.
[00:54:04] I know what it’s like, you know, to be the only girl in a family would have flat chest. And then 2020 came and my, my stomach and everything got big, but
[00:54:13] Kim: [00:54:13] you bought a male player. You bought to
[00:54:15] Donyetta: [00:54:15] lose all of that.
[00:54:18] Kim: [00:54:18] I hope you kept your small bra.
[00:54:20] Donyetta: [00:54:20] I’m on, I’m on the meal plan. You’re
[00:54:24] Kim: [00:54:24] supposed to be the example.
[00:54:27] Donyetta: [00:54:27] I’m gonna start again. Oh, Lord. Then I just tell you, I have some oxtails that are ordered from the Jamaican restaurant.
[00:54:34] Kim: [00:54:34] Wait, you paid the man for the meal plan and you’re not even following it. Y’all should see her face. Cause I
[00:54:42] Donyetta: [00:54:42] can’t, I can’t
[00:54:49] Kim: [00:54:49] eat oxtails.
[00:54:55] it don’t eat the rice, eat the bench. There you go. [00:55:00] God. I want some oxtails right now. That sounds so good.
[00:55:04] Donyetta: [00:55:04] Ben, as soon as we get off here, I’m going to hit that microwave. But no, I stuck with the meal plan for about a week and a half, and then I went to the beach and so I obviously I didn’t cook my food and take it with me to Florida.
[00:55:19] Uh, and then I got back and, you know, I just been out here living my best life.
[00:55:24] Kim: [00:55:24] All right, you got it. And so Monday I want you back on the plan. You could Slack off for the rest of the
[00:55:29] Donyetta: [00:55:29] weekend.
[00:55:30] Kim: [00:55:30] Monday, you are back on the plan.
[00:55:35] Donyetta: [00:55:35] Like, what, what is you doing? Like a meal plan. I am just going to have my photographer hit those angles, like, Oh gee,
[00:55:49] you like me?
[00:55:49] Kim: [00:55:49] Don’t try to rap. I turned it around. Y’all need to see what’s back there.
[00:55:54] Donyetta: [00:55:54] It’s sad. Only look how come I went to them [00:56:00] because I still don’t have a washing machine. Cause I blew mine up. So I went to the laundry mat yesterday and I put my back of my bullshit shirt in the dryer. So today I was like, thank God.
[00:56:11] They were like pretty strong. Cause I showed up again. But yeah, no, I’m I’m again. I’m back on the meal plan. I got a trip coming up in baby might be
[00:56:21] Kim: [00:56:21] less than a month. Like three weeks,
[00:56:23] Donyetta: [00:56:23] three weeks, but Thanksgiving is in two weeks.
[00:56:27] Kim: [00:56:27] Shit. Just throw out a meal plan out the window.
[00:56:33] Donyetta: [00:56:33] Wait,
[00:56:34] Kim: [00:56:34] you got through the BI I’d say fast, the, um, cayenne pepper and lemon.
[00:56:39] Donyetta: [00:56:39] What else? I was thinking about it yesterday. When I ran, I was like, can I do that? And they’re running up. Pass out,
[00:56:48] Kim: [00:56:48] pass
[00:56:48] Donyetta: [00:56:48] the week before you go on vacation.
[00:56:53] And then like, I’m gonna start doing like pushups and stuff, like to keep my back muscles. Cause I don’t want to go back to being flat chested done yet. It [00:57:00] just made me spent
[00:57:06] most of my life. Like what I finally got to a, because you can tell me nothing, not out of graduated to see.
[00:57:15] Shit.
[00:57:16] Kim: [00:57:16] Got me sweating
[00:57:16] Donyetta: [00:57:16] out. My Afro y’all were back
[00:57:25] Kim: [00:57:25] so as y’all may have heard, because we talked about it on this show, but Emily B. Who was with that dog on. Fabulous. And we ain’t going to even bring his little traveling behind, but she’s shared the cutest picture of their little, maybe, Oh my
[00:57:41] Donyetta: [00:57:41] God. She
[00:57:42] Kim: [00:57:42] had a little mermaid
[00:57:43] Donyetta: [00:57:43] outfit and she’s just laying down, sleeping
[00:57:46] Kim: [00:57:46] and looking so cute and just precious.
[00:57:51] It makes me want another one, but it doesn’t.
[00:57:54] Donyetta: [00:57:54] One of my favorite moments on this show is when he said how hard it didn’t [00:58:00] work out. He hit a pitch in the mouth to
[00:58:05] listen to that. I laugh every time
[00:58:08] Kim: [00:58:08] that you have to hit get a hammer to knock
[00:58:11] Donyetta: [00:58:11] it, teach drama. I ran into a damn wallet. Ain’t knocked my niece out.
[00:58:19] Kim: [00:58:19] Well, she’s still with the man.
[00:58:21] Donyetta: [00:58:21] Aren’t your teeth technically, are they considered
[00:58:24] Kim: [00:58:24] bones? I don’t
[00:58:25] Donyetta: [00:58:25] know. Like, because it’s not just what you see here. Like they are in there.
[00:58:32] Kim: [00:58:32] I don’t know, but
[00:58:34] Donyetta: [00:58:34] I’ve known people to get hit in the mouth with bat. People have fought. Mike Tyson used to. Be abusive towards Robin givens.
[00:58:42] And she got all her damn teeth,
[00:58:45] Kim: [00:58:45] like fabulous, always looked so skinny. Like, did he hit her? Was
[00:58:49] Donyetta: [00:58:49] why are we talking about this? It’s like hit
[00:58:53] Kim: [00:58:53] her with something like, well, what’s her teeth weak make sh you know, people don’t be going to the dentist, man. [00:59:00] That must’ve been what had happened
[00:59:02] Donyetta: [00:59:02] now. He hit the hell out of her.
[00:59:04] Love me. Oh, I’m going to look it up. FAA B O L O U S. He don’t spell it.
[00:59:08] Kim: [00:59:08] Right. I’m on his page right now to look at his little skinny ass,
[00:59:14] but I just don’t know how you could go back to it. Like, what did he get? Is,
[00:59:18] Donyetta: [00:59:18] is
[00:59:18] Kim: [00:59:18] the dangling guy good? Like what, what does he give you that makes you want to go back after he did this? It can’t be the money. Cause you could get your coin. You got like two kids by him. You can get your coins,
[00:59:35] Donyetta: [00:59:35] punish her. He hit her seven times and knocked her two front teeth out
[00:59:39] Kim: [00:59:39] seven types.
[00:59:41] Donyetta: [00:59:41] So that’s like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I need two more. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
[00:59:49] Kim: [00:59:49] No day, no way that I’m letting fab F me up there. He know
[00:59:55] Donyetta: [00:59:55] one time he hit her. It probably, you know, [01:00:00] like if you’ve been at a fight fight, like, you know, that first hit it sorta disorient you, he probably will home.
[01:00:06] Kim: [01:00:06] I’m going to get my disoriented ass up and go in the damn kitchen. And get a knife and it’s going to be on.
[01:00:13] Donyetta: [01:00:13] All right. Next up in news, we have good news. The notorious B I G and Whitney Houston have officially been inducted into the 2020 class of the rock and roll hall of fame.
[01:00:27] Kim: [01:00:27] Yeah. Much deserved is gone.
[01:00:35] Donyetta: [01:00:35] I visited the rock and roll hall of fame. Last February, February, 2019. That was my first time in Cleveland, Ohio.
[01:00:45] Kim: [01:00:45] Oh,
[01:00:47] Donyetta: [01:00:47] I was there ever been to Cleveland, Ohio pyramid. They had a conference there in February 1st. Well, you know, I couldn’t wait to get my behind back down to the South, but I [01:01:00] went to the rock and roll hall of fame.
[01:01:01] It’s in Cleveland and it’s on the freaking, what river is that? Or is it a Lake? Is it one of the five lakes? I know. What is the Ohio by the five great lakes or is that or river?
[01:01:16] Kim: [01:01:16] Isn’t that Michigan best buy. Great. Um, I
[01:01:20] Donyetta: [01:01:20] think all of them,
[01:01:24] Kim: [01:01:24] um, history
[01:01:29] Donyetta: [01:01:29] let me get my sheet. Let me pull up your map.
[01:01:32] Kim: [01:01:32] The great lakes. Isn’t that Michigan.
[01:01:35] Donyetta: [01:01:35] It is what great Lake is. This is Lake Erie,
[01:01:45] Kim: [01:01:45] Erie in Pennsylvania.
[01:01:48] Donyetta: [01:01:48] It’s by Pennsylvania is by Buffalo, Toronto, Indiana.
[01:01:57] Kim: [01:01:57] Okay. The only thing I know about [01:02:00] Cleveland is what Bron played there. That’s it. And was born there,
[01:02:06] Donyetta: [01:02:06] baby. It was brick like whole, and that’s the only stuff that I know. Cause I done heard people say it like, so it literally sits on the water.
[01:02:17] Of, um, Lake Erie. So February it was brick, but I went, it was so awesome to see like James Brown’s outfits and Michael Jackson’s outfits, the Jackson five, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin. And you realize how petite the men were, like some of those clothes that prints and, um, little Richard wore. Back then I was, I was skinny down Yetta.
[01:02:46] What? I went there,
[01:02:50] it was sad. Two or four. It was small.
[01:02:54] Kim: [01:02:54] Yeah.
[01:02:55] Donyetta: [01:02:55] All of those men were so petite. Like I couldn’t fit [01:03:00] half of my body and some of those things, well,
[01:03:02] Kim: [01:03:02] they wore women’s clothes, basically looking at prints.
[01:03:06] Donyetta: [01:03:06] He’s very small too, but yeah, it was very, it was interesting to see like how petite the men were back then, because we only know them like from TV or if you are blessed enough to see them in a concert.
[01:03:18] But yeah, they were all Elvis. They have one of Elvis’s cars up there. It has some stuff like Snoop. He wasn’t inducted, but they do have stuff like Snoop, uh, NWA, uh, Tupac. Ice cube and them, but they didn’t, I don’t think I skewed might be officially inducted. We ain’t gonna start.
[01:03:38] Kim: [01:03:38] We talk about no doggone ice cube shoot,
[01:03:42] Donyetta: [01:03:42] but I remember being there.
[01:03:44] Kim: [01:03:44] Where are you at now?
[01:03:45] Donyetta: [01:03:45] Ice cube. Mr. I’m only
[01:03:47] Kim: [01:03:47] with him for the 300 million, 300 million and now ice cube. Yeah. I went on a tangent buy ice cube and you luck. I got Friday on DVDs, but I, my kid broke my DVD [01:04:00] player, so I can’t even watch them anyway.
[01:04:02] Donyetta: [01:04:02] I was on that bike though, this my bike.
[01:04:08] Kim: [01:04:08] But
[01:04:08] Donyetta: [01:04:08] yeah, so they were talking, they, when I was there, they had it where you could vote, who was going to get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame.
[01:04:15] And I do remember Whitney being on the list. I remember the notorious B I G B and on the list too, so that it’s like a three-level building. It’s beautiful, beautiful facility. You can be there all day, but don’t go to Cleveland in a winter unless you bought that life.
[01:04:29] Kim: [01:04:29] I ain’t about that life. But congratulations to them.
[01:04:35] Ugh. I’ll always love biggie. Cause that was just like my little Haven growing up, like babble, all that good stuff. So like, yeah. I’m happy going to soon. Both of them. I liked
[01:04:49] Donyetta: [01:04:49] it, but I never loved biggie because you know who I loved.
[01:04:54] Kim: [01:04:54] What’s Southern person. You want to say
[01:04:56] Donyetta: [01:04:56] no to Bob was my boyfriend,
[01:04:58] Kim: [01:04:58] not [01:05:00] Tupac and Tupac is from New York.
[01:05:01] And I did not. Like
[01:05:05] Donyetta: [01:05:05] I remember being in, was it the ninth grade? I was in the marching band. And I remember some of my friends, you know, back in the day week I have a t-shirt like I had a t-shirt with boys and men on it. I had a t-shirt with Tupac on it. And I remember being at the football game on Friday, the 13th and my friends who knew, I love Tupac that weren’t in the band, came by to tell me that he died.
[01:05:31] And I remember being like, you’re lying. Like I knew he had been shot. He had, but they were like, Oh yeah, we know you probably ain’t heard.
[01:05:41] Kim: [01:05:41] They broke it to you like that.
[01:05:44] Donyetta: [01:05:44] Like I know some Tupac’s songs that mostly, but like,
[01:05:48] Kim: [01:05:48] I almost never felt like Brenda’s got a baby Tupac. Yes. But when he went to the West coast, Tupac, no,
[01:05:54] Donyetta: [01:05:54] California.
[01:05:57] Kim: [01:05:57] Okay. That was a hit.
[01:05:59] Donyetta: [01:05:59] That was a [01:06:00] hit. I can’t deny it. Uh, Right. Uh, you don’t want to with me, got the poli.
[01:06:07] Kim: [01:06:07] Okay. He has some hits with Snoop and them
[01:06:09] Donyetta: [01:06:09] out there, but
[01:06:12] Kim: [01:06:12] boy, he just got mean though, when he went out that should
[01:06:15] Donyetta: [01:06:15] night, like he was drunk like that
[01:06:18] Kim: [01:06:18] Tupac. Yeah.
[01:06:20] Donyetta: [01:06:20] He was not go mentioned shook night, too many times on this show.
[01:06:24] Cause he’s still alive and he ain’t nothing but a damn thug.
[01:06:28] Kim: [01:06:28] Yeah, I want sugar. I coming from me from jail. So we gotta move on from it.
[01:06:36] Well, yeah, congrats to Brittany, Brittany wit me and
[01:06:44] Donyetta: [01:06:44] Christopher Wallace.
[01:06:47] Kim: [01:06:47] Well, we are going to end the show on a sad note, but a happy note. Because we grew up with this man in our household, he lived a [01:07:00] very long life. He taught us so much trivia that we would have never known.
[01:07:06] Donyetta: [01:07:06] He,
[01:07:07] Kim: [01:07:07] there were, there were rap trivia answers on the game show and he just seemed Vanessa all of that.
[01:07:13] So we just want to say rest in peace to the incomparable, Alex Tribec. He lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. And I mean, this man works, people’s work and he typed in episode two weeks ago.
[01:07:29] Donyetta: [01:07:29] He was always classy too. He just. Like a debonair. He always reminded me of like the real life version of Victor Newman from the young and the restless.
[01:07:38] Yeah. See, yeah. Just classy. Never.
[01:07:44] Kim: [01:07:44] My brother still watches that show and he is still on it. Yeah, I know. He was, he was so classy and he hosts jeopardy for it. That’s the longest running game show.
[01:07:54] Donyetta: [01:07:54] Like he’s a, is he the only host there’s never been? I don’t know.
[01:08:00] [01:08:00] Kim: [01:08:00] Yeah. Yeah. It was
[01:08:01] Donyetta: [01:08:01] always very debonair. Very classy, man.
[01:08:04] Never seen him in the tabloids or in the news from like any mess, just a classic, like great Gatsby type of gentlemen.
[01:08:15] Kim: [01:08:15] And he was married to his wife for, I think like 30 years. I think he got married when he was like
[01:08:19] Donyetta: [01:08:19] 50, like,
[01:08:20] Kim: [01:08:20] Oh, it says a line out
[01:08:23] Donyetta: [01:08:23] there. No men.
[01:08:24] Kim: [01:08:24] Yes. It’s sad the way that he went out, but he loved a long life and I’m just glad that he’s resting in peace right now.
[01:08:32] So
[01:08:33] Donyetta: [01:08:33] thanks
[01:08:34] Kim: [01:08:34] sleep well, mr. Tribec, you will be missed on another note. There is a petition to get LaVar Burton as the next host of jeopardy.
[01:08:48] Donyetta: [01:08:48] Read a rainbow. Y’all just let it go. Let it go.
[01:08:52] Kim: [01:08:52] I can go any way.
[01:09:00] [01:08:59] Donyetta: [01:08:59] Barton. I like him. I don’t want anybody to ever, ever host jeopardy ever, ever again. That’s like, no, they’re not.
[01:09:08] They bought them. Uh, what’s his name on dare to do the prices, right? It’s just not the same.
[01:09:14] Kim: [01:09:14] It’s not the same, but it’s still going.
[01:09:17] Donyetta: [01:09:17] I don’t want to LaVar. I don’t want to know it’s
[01:09:21] Kim: [01:09:21] better if one of
[01:09:21] Donyetta: [01:09:21] us, I know nobody. No, but
[01:09:26] Kim: [01:09:26] jeopardy is not in jeopardy is going to keep going. He knows he
[01:09:32] Donyetta: [01:09:32] messed up all his stuff though.
[01:09:34] If Nick cannon didn’t run his mouth so much, he could have done it. He needs somebody younger than LaVar. Cause LaVar. If, if Alex Dravet was what? 80, what? LaVar 75 Lavonne has been old. LaVar has been older life, just like Morgan Freeman and Samuel L. Jackson. He’s 63. Cut it out. Okay. Y’all lions. He’s [01:10:00] 75. He went to elementary school with my grandmother.
[01:10:03] That may have been active
[01:10:04] Kim: [01:10:04] forever. He was in star Wars. Like
[01:10:06] Donyetta: [01:10:06] he’s been old. Like he looks,
[01:10:11] Kim: [01:10:11] he said, of course, while I’m very flattered by the petition. My thoughts are with Alec tripex family and his millions of fans, the devastating loss of this irreplaceable legend. Well, we would like to thank you for tuning into another episode of Le Twins Experience.
