Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Donyetta: [00:00:00] Welcome to Le Twins Experience with Kim and Donyetta.
[00:00:07] Kim: [00:00:07] Now let’s get back on album bullshit.
[00:00:21] I’m Kim
[00:00:22] Donyetta: [00:00:22] and I’m done Donyetta
[00:00:24] Kim: [00:00:24] and welcome to another episode of Le Twins Experience.
[00:00:29] Donyetta: [00:00:29] We’re back on our bullshit for the week. Yeah. So
[00:00:35] Kim: [00:00:35] what’s been going on with you.
[00:00:40] Donyetta: [00:00:40] So I am happy to say I’ve closed on the house and I moved this week and that has been a full time job in of itself. But again, everything moved and.
[00:00:54] I have one more room of boxes to unpack, and then I’ll still have to hang everything up on the walls, but I [00:01:00] am in the house. Y’all hot lady. Lou
[00:01:03] Kim: [00:01:03] I’m packing is the worst.
[00:01:06] Donyetta: [00:01:06] Like literally every day I would take Advil when I went to sleep. Cause when I would lay down, I’d be like, why is my body? You know, how much after a big race, like a half marathon or marathon, when you lay down, you can literally feel how sore achy your body is.
[00:01:20] Like, that’s how it felt every day. And I did not realize that. Yes, so much stuff. Like when I tell you I’m disgusted by how many clicks I get, where. I have enough shirts where if I didn’t wash clothes for three months, I still would not wear the same shirt twice.
[00:01:36] Kim: [00:01:36] I am the same way. And you know what?
[00:01:37] Because when you do your laundry, you put the same shirt back on top and you just end up wearing the same clothes over and over, or you stick it right in your closet and you just keep wearing this
[00:01:48] Donyetta: [00:01:48] it’s it’s on like, Why do I have all these clothes? I don’t want to be aware of it. So I probably have like a hundred pairs of shoes and I had, you know, those wardrobe boxes you can get where you can just take stuff out your closet and hang it on the hanger.
[00:02:00] [00:01:59] I had 10 of those. Ooh. What am I doing? I don’t wear all that stuff. Like prom, dresses and dresses for all white parties is 2020. We ain’t mentioned no Marty. I can’t fit that stuff. I’m not a size six normal. He didn’t throw it away.
[00:02:17] Kim: [00:02:17] I had a lot of shoes like that, but last year I really did a purge, a setup.
[00:02:21] I haven’t worn this this year or within the last six months. I just got rid of it, unless it has some real sentiments about it. Or if it was very expensive, like I have these Tory Burch riding boots, I ain’t getting rid of them. Shits. I have a , there are eight and a half.
[00:02:36] Donyetta: [00:02:36] Dang. It I’m a seven and a half, but when I buy my boots, I buy eight,
[00:02:39] Kim: [00:02:39] listen, I was expensive.
[00:02:41] They are going nowhere.
[00:02:44] Donyetta: [00:02:44] I start wearing them things around the house.
[00:02:46] Kim: [00:02:46] I’m gonna, I’m gonna wear them this year. I need to put that on my, to do lists
[00:02:52] Donyetta: [00:02:52] where I, them dang those
[00:02:54] Kim: [00:02:54] shoes. They cute too. They up to the cap and things happen. I need to wear those. I’m going to [00:03:00] take some full pictures. Let’s Mark this down, take some full of pictures in those boots.
[00:03:04] Full call is here. It’s 65 degrees in New York. They got cool.
[00:03:08] Donyetta: [00:03:08] Quick. We need to do a little twins. Fall photo shoot.
[00:03:12] Kim: [00:03:12] We do, you know, I was looking at flights to Atlanta,
[00:03:18] Donyetta: [00:03:18] come on, come on.
[00:03:21] Kim: [00:03:21] Oh. Was like, I need to get out of here, like be at home all day. You can really feel yourself like being home all day. Like I need to get, actually I am getting away.
[00:03:30] This week, actually, Saturday, I’m outta here. Y’all girl. I’m going, I’m not gonna say where I’m going. Y’all see. When I get there,
[00:03:40] Donyetta: [00:03:40] you gotta use
[00:03:41] Kim: [00:03:41] your passport. Gotta use the passport.
[00:03:43] Donyetta: [00:03:43] Okay. I know she’s talking about why didn’t I think that was going to be like later, later, I didn’t know. It was like,
[00:03:47] Kim: [00:03:47] boom, do you know what I mean?
[00:03:49] This month went by so fast, but like I just booked my flights, like a Thursday. Yeah.
[00:03:56] Donyetta: [00:03:56] Yeah. I was about to say like, you literally sent me a text when I was unpacking boxes. [00:04:00] And that was BSR. No, I thought it was coming up later. Get a fluid out girl, go, go for both
[00:04:06] Kim: [00:04:06] this little homeschool and driving me crazy.
[00:04:08] I got to go.
[00:04:09] Donyetta: [00:04:09] And how long are you gonna be gone
[00:04:11] Kim: [00:04:11] for six days. Oh, I’m outta here.
[00:04:15] Donyetta: [00:04:15] Five nights. Six days, like
[00:04:17] Kim: [00:04:17] seven days, six
[00:04:18] Donyetta: [00:04:18] nights. Oh, I’m jealous.
[00:04:21] Kim: [00:04:21] I know. I need, Ugh. I’m sorry, I just went away, but I’m just,
[00:04:27] Donyetta: [00:04:27] I don’t know. Can we get a break? I’m in recording so I can get my edges and my do my hair for the next episode.
[00:04:33] Cause y’all know something had on a hat or a headscarf.
[00:04:35] Kim: [00:04:35] No, we don’t get a break. We go on record Friday night while I’m packing.
[00:04:40] Donyetta: [00:04:40] Okay. Cause you don’t leave so sad or to, okay. Okay.
[00:04:43] Kim: [00:04:43] I’ll leave Saturday morning.
[00:04:45] Donyetta: [00:04:45] Woo. So what’s been going on in your world besides booking flights to get fluid out.
[00:04:51] Kim: [00:04:51] I wish I was getting fluid out.
[00:04:52] Shoot. I paid for that flight.
[00:04:54] Donyetta: [00:04:54] Well, now I said fluid out, just cause anytime the PA the pro the pilot is our chauffer at this point. Cause we [00:05:00] just be happy. So he flew, he flew in us out. Cause he’s a chauffeur of
[00:05:03] the
[00:05:03] Kim: [00:05:03] plane. He spoon, he flew him. He’s blind me out.
[00:05:06] Donyetta: [00:05:06] Yeah, we have fluid out just cause we, we leaving.
[00:05:10] Kim: [00:05:10] Yeah, we got, we got the cow, but yeah. Yeah, it’s been same old, same old, just chilling, like a villain, trying to get my self in order. But yeah, not much happening in my world. Oh. I did go out to eat in New York city last week. That was interesting. It really, you know what, they slipped a little, they just reopened since cult, like inside restaurants just reopens as Kohler, but that restaurant is actually our rooftop.
[00:05:37] So it was like in and out, but they were slipping. It’s called, um, what is it called? It’s called Sarah by Bravia something.
[00:05:49] Donyetta: [00:05:49] Oh, those the beautiful flower. Get this.
[00:05:53] Kim: [00:05:53] They usually have beautiful, real flowers all over the place. The flowers were fake on the ceiling. I said, I asked the [00:06:00] witches. I said, what is going on here?
[00:06:02] Why are all these flowers fake? And she’s like, I don’t know. I just thought I’d work here. I was like, ma’am. Tell the manager that I come here for the ambiance, I don’t come here to see fake flowers.
[00:06:13] Donyetta: [00:06:13] That sounds like the garden room here in Atlanta. Like the whole inside is it’s pretty much a garden, but when I tell you, you gotta book your reservation for that place, like in months, because it’s so small.
[00:06:23] And now I can’t imagine how they’re fitting people in there. There’s no way I’m going to look.
[00:06:27] Kim: [00:06:27] That’s how this place is as well. It took us two weeks to get a table there by yeah, I said, I told her, I say, y’all slipping y’all y’all starting out with three stars on Yelp. Cause you not leave reviews.
[00:06:40] Donyetta: [00:06:40] Let me look.
[00:06:40] I’m going to find it. And so maybe I could land us a resume. Very Sean, if you let me know the next time you are coming bug,
[00:06:49] Kim: [00:06:49] they got to have real flowers though.
[00:06:54] Donyetta: [00:06:54] Now they’re open from Wednesday five to midnight, Thursday and Saturday five to 1:00 AM. So [00:07:00] yeah.
[00:07:00] Kim: [00:07:00] Wait, is it outdoor? Cause I’m not eating indoors.
[00:07:03] Donyetta: [00:07:03] It’s like an atrium, but the flowers on the inside are real. So it was like a carousel. Um, this made out of flowers. Stuff like that. And it’s by that, what’s that Spency smancy hotel in Buckhead at the st.
[00:07:18] Regis. I think it’s like right next door to the it’s attached to the st. Regis. So when you go to the restroom, you actually go use the restroom in the lobby of the st. Regis hotel.
[00:07:27] Kim: [00:07:27] Oh, fancy.
[00:07:29] Donyetta: [00:07:29] I ain’t never stayed in that hotel. I’ve been to a conference there, but I ain’t never stayed in that one. Yeah. That place is a
[00:07:34] Kim: [00:07:34] fancy schmancy.
[00:07:37] Yeah. So New York city is like looking at. It kind of felt normal. Like a month ago, month and a half ago, it was still empty. But like last week it was like the hustle and bustle of the city. It felt back to normal, which is weird because everyone’s
[00:07:53] Donyetta: [00:07:53] walking around with a mask on is bullshit.
[00:08:00] [00:08:00] They’re just stuck in traffic.
[00:08:01] Kim: [00:08:01] Yeah. I’m not ready to like interact with people a hundred yet. I’m like I’m taking baby steps.
[00:08:10] Donyetta: [00:08:10] Certain people have asked when they can come over and visit the new house and I’ll let, like, I can count. You see these five things I’m holding up.
[00:08:18] Kim: [00:08:18] Y’all
[00:08:19] Donyetta: [00:08:19] um, so some people I will let like come over, but at this point I’m so tired.
[00:08:25] If I don’t see nobody for the rest of this month, I’ll be good. I’m good. Love.
[00:08:31] Kim: [00:08:31] Look, I just, I just saw my best friend for the first time, since March three weeks ago in person. Like, I haven’t really been aside from a little fitness activities. I haven’t really seen anybody in person
[00:08:48] Donyetta: [00:08:48] I’ve seen you. There’s only one other person I’ve seen more than you in person.
[00:08:59] Kim: [00:08:59] And I live in another [00:09:00] state.
[00:09:01] Donyetta: [00:09:01] I know, right? Yeah. So, yeah. There’s only one. Yeah. There’s one person here in Atlanta that I’ve seen often. Um, that’s it, everybody else, social media, which fools you into thinking, you’ve seen
[00:09:13] Kim: [00:09:13] people. I know it seems like you. Like social media, just, Oh my God. I saw this show on Netflix girl.
[00:09:23] That show makes you want to deactivate all your social media accounts.
[00:09:27] Donyetta: [00:09:27] You know, that’s what I’ve been thinking about lately with all this new social media influence and I’m doing social media is just not the same for me. So why should I deactivate give me another reason,
[00:09:36] Kim: [00:09:36] girl? It, the, the, it was a documentary and it was just so true.
[00:09:41] It’s like, Their Facebook, Instagram, whatever. They’re tracking our every move. They know what we click on. They know whose profile we’re visiting, how long we’re on that profile. They do things to keep you on their platform. It was just sick. It [00:10:00] was sick to watch, like they showed how they put certain ads in front of certain people based on, you know, whose pages they were on, what they clicked on.
[00:10:11] Donyetta: [00:10:11] And I also started seeing a bunch of ads for lace fronts.
[00:10:14] Kim: [00:10:14] Probably it was just, it was so sickening. Like
[00:10:22] Donyetta: [00:10:22] I told you how, like one of my coworker gave me a compliment on that. That bright yellow winter coat. I have, we were at a conference, we were boarding the plane. She was behind me. She said, where’d you get that coat?
[00:10:33] I said, J crew, you know, as you get on the plane, the flight attendant greets you. The flight attendant was like, wow, I love that coat. Where’d you get it? And I was like J crew. When we got off of our flight, my coworker turned her phone back off of airplane mode and open it up and guess what’s the first thing she saw on Facebook
[00:10:48] Kim: [00:10:48] damn J crew at.
[00:10:50] Donyetta: [00:10:50] And she said, Donyetta, I never. See ads from J crew. I said, I
[00:10:54] Kim: [00:10:54] believe you it’s really crazy.
[00:10:59] Donyetta: [00:10:59] The streets are [00:11:00] watching y’all
[00:11:00] Kim: [00:11:00] and they were just saying, like, if we keep going at the rate, they said at this generation generation, Z, what did they call the Carmen generation? What are we where. Where we’re in millennia where the last year of the millennials, but they said like the teenagers today, they’re the first teenagers that totally grow group are growing up on social media that have a social media account and middle school,
[00:11:29] Donyetta: [00:11:29] which is we didn’t get it college.
[00:11:31] Kim: [00:11:31] And they said, is this going to be like, An ongoing thing. Our kids are people because the teenagers of today they’re, they don’t know what it’s like to watch Saturday morning cartoons. Okay. Y’all also y’all know we started our song picks up the week, right. And we put this show on YouTube and we, we know that, um, we can get a copyright strike if we play copyrighted music.
[00:11:56] So we only played a small snippet of these songs. 10 [00:12:00] seconds to be exact.
[00:12:03] Donyetta: [00:12:03] What
[00:12:06] Kim: [00:12:06] little Haley and Chloe, Chloe. And what are their names? Chloe
[00:12:10] Donyetta: [00:12:10] Kellyanne
[00:12:13] Kim: [00:12:13] look, whatever the heck they name is doggone park,
[00:12:16] Donyetta: [00:12:16] Chloe and Hailey.
[00:12:17] Kim: [00:12:17] And y’all know we love some Beyonce. Okay. We’ve been to all the shows. We’ve been to all the concerts.
[00:12:23] We’d be spinning out coins on queen bee and she owns Parkwood. Whom Halley and Chloe, Chloe, and Halle, whatever their name is assigned to. They put a copyright strike on our video for playing their songs. Do it. I’m like y’all should be happy. I
[00:12:41] Donyetta: [00:12:41] say, don’t play every look when I tell you, I’ll be, I say, has a team dedicated to doing nothing, but searching the internet.
[00:12:47] Just like, remember those super bowl photos where she, like people had these unflattering photos of her. You can’t find most of them photos on the internet. So this day, let me be on [00:13:00] SES. Uh, internet team works for what is it? Be 16, where at work
[00:13:06] Kim: [00:13:06] we’re work.
[00:13:08] Donyetta: [00:13:08] What was it? These things we talked about
[00:13:11] Kim: [00:13:11] is that the vitamin
[00:13:13] Donyetta: [00:13:13] B12 is the vitamins
[00:13:15] Kim: [00:13:15] be 13.
[00:13:17] Donyetta: [00:13:17] Let me go. I’m gonna Google it. But yeah. So beyond says, internet team works for Papa Pope and Jake. On scandal. So what I tell y’all, she’s probably listening to this now and she’s going to copyright us. Cause we talked about her is listen to the Papa, Jake.
[00:13:37] Kim: [00:13:37] I want Chloe and Halle to be happy that we play 10 seconds of bear song on our show because people probably went and listened to that song.
[00:13:48] But listen here, Chloe. And how at queen bee and Parkwood. When we monetize our channel, we taken a doggone song out the video.
[00:13:57] Donyetta: [00:13:57] Let’s be clear. Yeah, we are
[00:14:00] [00:14:00] Kim: [00:14:00] now. But w w whenever we get that monetization is coming out,
[00:14:05] Donyetta: [00:14:05] gets, it was free to say, Whoa, you guys, the guy by Dan, tell him about the following episode.
[00:14:13] So that was what episode five, then what happened
[00:14:15] Kim: [00:14:15] so early, put a copyright claim in as well.
[00:14:20] Donyetta: [00:14:20] I’m like. RCA records.
[00:14:23] Kim: [00:14:23] Y’all don’t want people to hear y’all music. Like
[00:14:27] Donyetta: [00:14:27] it’s like that song it’s like Kim told us about it. So you need to be happy.
[00:14:32] Kim: [00:14:32] Exactly. So, you know, I sent a few people to your page to dabble, to know them.
[00:14:37] So you know what? You can have your copyright clown. We gonna take it back eventually.
[00:14:42] Donyetta: [00:14:42] Hmm. Yeah. See project Pat, my booth, then putting a copyright claim on the ratchet song and I pick
[00:14:48] Kim: [00:14:48] and surgeon and either.
[00:14:51] Donyetta: [00:14:51] Cause there’s just such a classy West coast gentlemen.
[00:14:54] Kim: [00:14:54] So we’re going to have to
[00:14:55] Donyetta: [00:14:55] add that, know him personally.
[00:14:56] Kim: [00:14:56] We’re going to have to add more of their music to our [00:15:00] playlist and speaking of playlists.
[00:15:03] Donyetta: [00:15:03] No, this week
[00:15:05] Kim: [00:15:05] we do. Yeah.
[00:15:14] every time she does it. I crack up. I just, I can’t.
[00:15:21] Oh Lord. So we have a new playlist on Spotify because Spotify is free.
[00:15:32] Donyetta: [00:15:32] I thought the twins email address had got ahead. Cause I’ve just checked them my phone.
[00:15:40] Oh, this makes so much sense now, but I was packing by, I was unpacking boxes. So I meant to say, I think we got hacked, but I’m glad I’ve been say that. Cause we ain’t get hacked
[00:15:49] Kim: [00:15:49] hack. We have a new, late twins. playlist. So all of our songs from the pick of the week, they will be on this playlist and you can follow it.
[00:15:58] And I made a short [00:16:00] URL cause the playlist is like, the address is like a hundred characters long, like
[00:16:04] Donyetta: [00:16:04] Spotify, what y’all doing the most dumb most da
[00:16:10] Kim: [00:16:10] the address of the playlist is B I T dot L Y slash LeTwinsExperience. So it’s a bit L Y shortcode. So I will put the playlist in the show notes. You can look on your phone and scroll up right now and click on that playlist and click follow.
[00:16:28] And every song that we pick of the week on this show is going to be on that playlist. Will it
[00:16:34] Donyetta: [00:16:34] be on the website too?
[00:16:35] Kim: [00:16:35] I’ll put a link on a website to
[00:16:37] Donyetta: [00:16:37] pitch. I’ll be going to the website every week. Don’t you.
[00:16:40] Kim: [00:16:40] It’s not there yet. By the time you listened to the show
[00:16:43] Donyetta: [00:16:43] them y’all go to the website every week.
[00:16:45] Don’t y’all
[00:16:47] Kim: [00:16:47] go to that website. Okay. Because I did it myself. It was a labor of love, no answers. We ain’t got no budgets. We got no money.
[00:16:57] Donyetta: [00:16:57] But with that said, if anybody would [00:17:00] like to be a lLe Twins Experience, intern holla at ya girls holla at a playa when you see me on the street trick, y’all know what that might be my song pick of the week.
[00:17:08] Have you ever heard that song? You can’t change a song pig now? No, I meant like for next week,
[00:17:14] Kim: [00:17:14] no Diana, because of me on all the music. Cause I didn’t know any of her pick so far.
[00:17:21] Donyetta: [00:17:21] Oh, yesterday is a good one. So what we got four, we got, again, I’m going to do the Southern thing and let you go.
[00:17:29] Kim: [00:17:29] My song pick of the week is an oldie, but goodie.
[00:17:36] I’m going to play it for y’all and then we’ll talk about it.
[00:17:47] that’s all. Y’all get
[00:17:52] that’s all you get. So that is an oldie, but goodie growth. Fear reads hell me. And Oh my God. [00:18:00] I used to love that song like that. That was like high school, right?
[00:18:05] Donyetta: [00:18:05] Yep. I used to pretend that I was singing. You know, you’d be in the back of your mama in the car and you’d be looking out the window, like you in the RNB video.
[00:18:13] This is one of those songs for me. Yeah.
[00:18:16] Kim: [00:18:16] What year was this? 1995. That was junior high school. Oh my God. All right. So let’s get into your song pick of the week. What you got.
[00:18:27] Donyetta: [00:18:27] So my song pick of the week, it’s another mellow, uh, too, but it’s still, uh, I guess we can consider him a hip hop artist. It is shot for me by Drake.
[00:18:41] So here we go. Wow. He’s getting faded. Take a shot.
[00:18:52] It’s such a beautiful, beautiful saw. Like the first time I heard that song, I fell in love with it. Um, in [00:19:00] essence, it’s a song shot for me. You’re talking to a woman that he used to date and she ended the relationship on some BS and, and he’s like, take a shot for me. Isn’t a shot, like a drink, a shot. Cause I know you regret what you did, but this is where we are.
[00:19:14] So keep drinking baby girl. That’s going to be all right.
[00:19:17] Kim: [00:19:17] And guess what? I never heard this song either,
[00:19:21] Donyetta: [00:19:21] but don’t be going hard and listen, as soon as they played, I said,
[00:19:26] Kim: [00:19:26] can sang, like Drake’s should have been on a verses with Brandy and Monica. It should have been breathing. And Monica versus Drake.
[00:19:33] Donyetta: [00:19:33] Okay.
[00:19:34] So I think that one was off his thank me later album. And when I tell you it is the pet, if anybody has ever had an ask, like, dude, I’m dirty and you had a whole glow up and you doing good, then I hope you listen to that song. And it makes you feel a little bit better. But even if that wasn’t your experience.
[00:19:51] Oh, it just like the gang song. It’s pretty awesome. It’s
[00:19:53] Kim: [00:19:53] a good song. I’m feeling it. So we are going to add those two songs to our [00:20:00] Spotify playlists and we will link it down below. Make sure y’all follow the playlist so you can, you know, hear the Le Twins Experience soundtrack.
[00:20:09] Donyetta: [00:20:09] Yes, indeed.
[00:20:10] Kim: [00:20:10] And y’all better not copyright these doggone songs next week.
[00:20:13] Shoot.
[00:20:13] Donyetta: [00:20:13] Oh, Drake. Drake might be the one that gets me. Yeah, I’ve been doing good. Um, Oh, and two, is that what you call it? When you at my wedding and why am I losing you? Oh,
[00:20:24] Kim: [00:20:24] I’m losing. I’m losing.
[00:20:26] Donyetta: [00:20:26] So I’m tooling.
[00:20:26] Kim: [00:20:26] Oh two. And now I’m all too.
[00:20:29] Donyetta: [00:20:29] So we’re going to see we, you don’t see, we going to tell y’all next week.
[00:20:32] What? Go down. So we have added a new segment called black girl magic of the week. So we don’t just talk all thing bullshit on this podcast. We talk about fabulousness as well, and we are black girl magic, and we are going to recognize other black girl magic as we see it. All right. All right. All right.
[00:20:53] Kim: [00:20:53] Our first black girl magic spotlight is Naomi Osaka who won the U S.
[00:20:59] Open [00:21:00] this
[00:21:00] Donyetta: [00:21:00] week, round of applause, young lady. Yes. D
[00:21:05] Kim: [00:21:05] you know, even though the U S open was going on. And so I saw
[00:21:14] I gotta get out of this. I to get out of this room from the front of his damn window. Yeah. So I didn’t even know the U S open was going on until I saw a post about Sabrina.
[00:21:26] Donyetta: [00:21:26] The only reason I knew it was cause I was talking on the phone with somebody and he. He was watching it and cheering for it. And I was like, but do we really understand the
[00:21:34] Kim: [00:21:34] concept?
[00:21:35] So Naomi won her second U S open. Her first win was against Serena Williams.
[00:21:43] Donyetta: [00:21:43] That was a big to do hoof.
[00:21:45] Kim: [00:21:45] It sure was because Serena had problems with their breath and she cursed the rough out or something.
[00:21:50] Donyetta: [00:21:50] Yeah. She told me, yeah, that was like a video. What did she say to him? I forgot, but it was good.
[00:21:56] Whatever she said to him was good.
[00:21:58] Kim: [00:21:58] He was telling me you should apologize. [00:22:00] Right? I think she had a nanny. It was fine.
[00:22:03] Donyetta: [00:22:03] Yeah. A lot of people were given Naomi flat for being in Serina. Cause you know, like Serena is our beloved tennis player. And then remember she cried when she was actually accepted her award because people were booing her Naomi.
[00:22:20] Kim: [00:22:20] Yeah. Because Serena, she was supposed to get like the record off of that when. Yeah. I don’t think she’s one sense. Right? She has not gotten that. You know, look I a
[00:22:31] Donyetta: [00:22:31] grand slam, but not the us open, but Naomi cried and I remember feeling so, so bad for her, but she came back this year. She did the damn thing.
[00:22:40] She was black girl magic. Cause her face mask had the names of all the. How do I want to put it? Like the Sandra bland, the Brianna tailors, the Elijah hashtags.
[00:22:57] Kim: [00:22:57] Yeah. Or bridge? Yeah. [00:23:00] She wore a mask of all of the young brothers and sisters that were taken away from us too soon. And you know, that was commendable because she was, she making a statement.
[00:23:11] You know, she was showing that she stands with her black side, you know, what does she Japanese. Half Japanese half patient,
[00:23:19] Donyetta: [00:23:19] I believe. So. Do you know? Cause at first she boycotted it and she said she was not going to compete when wasn’t he just shot in the back seven times we talked about it, a couple of episodes before in the, in the, uh, w NBA and the NBA players boycotted, they weren’t going to play.
[00:23:38] What’s his name? Why are we having a brain fart?
[00:23:44] Kim: [00:23:44] The one that’s in shot in the back right now
[00:23:46] Donyetta: [00:23:46] he’s paralyzed,
[00:23:47] Kim: [00:23:47] but it’s the same. Cause that’s cause he didn’t get a lot of media attention and that said
[00:23:54] Donyetta: [00:23:54] he only didn’t get alive because he didn’t die. Like I hate that, which is bad. [00:24:00] I’m going to Google this and we are going to say, we’re going to say his name too, because that’s going to bother me.
[00:24:06] Jacob Blake.
[00:24:09] Yes.
[00:24:11] Donyetta: [00:24:11] So she boy caught it. She was not going to compete when the incident where Jacob Blake was shot in the back seven times about a police offer in West Wisconsin, is that where he was Wisconsin. She was not gonna play. And so I believe they postponed the games. Like she, she said what she said.
[00:24:29] And so she was not going to play if they carried on with the tournament. And so it was rescheduled, I believe. And when it was rescheduled, she came out each tournament with a customized face mask that had all the names of those black men and women who have been slain by police officers in the U S of a,
[00:24:49] Kim: [00:24:49] and this I’m looking at her holding up the trophy and the stadium is empty.
[00:24:56] Donyetta: [00:24:56] So I had to be different.
[00:24:58] Kim: [00:24:58] Yeah. I didn’t watch any tennis [00:25:00] dish. I usually try to catch it, you know, cause the us open is in New York and it’s like, you know, a big thing here. I usually try to, I didn’t watch one match this year. I didn’t even know that this, I mean, I figured it would be very little people there if any, but the stadiums are empty.
[00:25:14] So
[00:25:15] Donyetta: [00:25:15] it’s like the football and the basketball games. Like I think I’ve heard that they play. Like that cheering sound to give the players, at least mentally that aesthetic, but it’s just not the same. Well,
[00:25:28] Kim: [00:25:28] the basketball games, because my husband is watches all of them. I don’t know how, but they have virtual fans on the walls around the arena and watching the game live and he a chairman and stuff.
[00:25:41] So it’s cool. Her boyfriend is rapper core day. Who
[00:25:44] Donyetta: [00:25:44] is this? He’s a rapper. How do you spell it?
[00:25:50] Kim: [00:25:50] C O R D a E. He wore at the final, uh, [00:26:00] defund. The police t-shirt
[00:26:02] Donyetta: [00:26:02] play a song. So we know who, I don’t know who Harper, who does woman. Oh, yes. Yes. And he’s part
[00:26:07] Kim: [00:26:07] of the, why B and collective. I think they’re a group because there’s a Y being Melly.
[00:26:11] My son listens to him and there’s another. Listen, I’m too old to be listened to these little kids rappers and I don’t know nothing about,
[00:26:20] Donyetta: [00:26:20] I just made my hair trying to, does he have a song that we would know?
[00:26:23] Kim: [00:26:23] Probably not.
[00:26:25] Donyetta: [00:26:25] Let me say, why did the court date popular song? Why D chordae lost boy, hold on, hold on.
[00:26:36] We’re going to play the first one to come up. Y’all are going to get a few.
[00:26:46] never heard of it. Alright. Next,
[00:26:50] Kim: [00:26:50] moving along,
[00:26:54] Donyetta: [00:26:54] we should all, ain’t gonna play people. We ain’t never heard of any of yourselves. We might not know a specific Ursa [00:27:00] song, but young man, we met her to you. We are millennials,
[00:27:05] Kim: [00:27:05] but congratulations too. Naomi Osaka for her second U S open win this week’s black girl magic.
[00:27:15] Donyetta: [00:27:15] And we have a second addition to black girl magic of the week because we would be remissed.
[00:27:21] If we did not talk about the magic between ms. Gladys Knight and ms. Patty LaBelle. Let me tell y’all when I tell y’all to bless my holes.
[00:27:33] Kim: [00:27:33] Oh, I found my home life on that versus it was like, it was the best versus out hands down the best versus.
[00:27:45] Donyetta: [00:27:45] I literally had goosebumps and, you know, going into it. I know that like vocally, I just love Patti LaBelle.
[00:27:53] Like I favored her more than Gladys Knight, but I wouldn’t say that Gladys Knight can’t sing or she’s not talented, but when I tell you [00:28:00] they sang songs and I was like glad. Yes. Okay. And so literally they were, it was just everything that I wish. All versus could be, especially like Brandy and Monica. Like they sat there and talked about the fact that they are friends and they’ve been friends and how they support each other.
[00:28:22] They supported each other through the death of children, through the death of spouses. They sang each other songs with, Oh, I can’t, I can’t. I’m about to pass out just thinking about it.
[00:28:34] Kim: [00:28:34] It was just so good. It was like, I watched the whole thing from start and I finally got, cause I’m using my Apple TV Nam.
[00:28:42] I got it for Christmas. I haven’t used it ever, but my husband hooked it up. So the fire stick is gone. I got my Apple TV. I watched it on Apple music on the T it’s so much better on the TV than watching on Instagram.
[00:28:56] Donyetta: [00:28:56] I had it on my iPad, but through Apple music,
[00:28:59] Kim: [00:28:59] Cause you feel like [00:29:00] you’re in a concept, but it was like, we both picked Patty, but Gladys like, like, cause like we all know that they both could sing, but just Gladys brought it.
[00:29:12] They both brought it. It was, it was just such a good freaking show. Like
[00:29:17] Donyetta: [00:29:17] the energy was heavenly, like, Oh. And when they brought that damn Dion work out, let me tell y’all. I was already emotional, but when they brought Deon workout about hit the floor, you know, I don’t have words. And when I tell y’all catty, You thought it was going to be DHEA?
[00:29:39] You thought the hell was going to come out?
[00:29:40] Kim: [00:29:40] No, no. I didn’t think she was going to come out, but I was waiting for Patty to do the, you know, the bird, bird, wings,
[00:29:49] Donyetta: [00:29:49] Patty. I told y’all Patty was going to have on them there bottom. She didn’t, she didn’t kiss him. Because it wasn’t the audience. But when I tell y’all Patti LaBelle is everything that Donyetta wants to be. [00:30:00] When she’s in her seventies, she was drinking her red wine. She had her red bottoms on, she had her Louis futon, vintage trucks stacked up to the right and her
[00:30:10] Kim: [00:30:10] mirror.
[00:30:11] Remember that mirror?
[00:30:13] Donyetta: [00:30:13] Oh, hi aunt Gladys. Or like girlfriend gold.
[00:30:20] Kim: [00:30:20] RNB music royalty. Even the set with the chandelier is like, it was just so about
[00:30:29] Donyetta: [00:30:29] cooking. They asked each other how their kids were doing and, you know, they talked about, I loved it when Patty said there are so many of her backup singers that can out seeing her.
[00:30:38] And that’s why she gives people the mic because you have to like open the door for each other. And like I said, they sang each other songs with them. Most people would be like, Oh, that’s my song. She was like, I got you, girl. I I’m just, I might go try to find it’s a replaceable. Can I find it
[00:30:55] Kim: [00:30:55] so you can replay it on Instagram?
[00:30:58] You can replay it on Apple music, which is [00:31:00] silly. Like let people replay on Apple music.
[00:31:03] Donyetta: [00:31:03] Yes. I don’t like that.
[00:31:05] Kim: [00:31:05] Yeah. So you got to go to the pool, but their versus was the number two highest rated versus that dove on Brandy and Monica was number one.
[00:31:14] Donyetta: [00:31:14] Really, how many did Patty and Gladys have?
[00:31:17] Kim: [00:31:17] They had a ton?
[00:31:20] Donyetta: [00:31:20] Cause Brandy had it. Monica had, at one point
[00:31:23] Kim: [00:31:23] they have 1.2 on Instagram, but you know, they count the Instagram and the Apple music numbers. Okay.
[00:31:34] Donyetta: [00:31:34] On my, Hmm.
[00:31:38] Kim: [00:31:38] So on, um, I G they have 612,000 viewers, two and a half million total viewers. They have 1.2 million viewers on Apple music.
[00:31:51] Donyetta: [00:31:51] This is second and Gladys.
[00:31:56] Kim: [00:31:56] This is Gladys and Patty. So Brandy and Monica, those [00:32:00] heifers.
[00:32:03] Donyetta: [00:32:03] Hey, awesome effort.
[00:32:11] Kim: [00:32:11] Okay. Those little heifers have 1.2, four, 3 million people on Instagram. 1.8 on Apple music. That’s crazy. They’re males. Half of us just sat there and didn’t even say like, Y’all ain’t never gonna live this damn brand new mom. Cause y’all just gone head, go back into the hole that you crawled out. Cause I’m sick.
[00:32:34] Donyetta: [00:32:34] I’m done. And that lady is the name of the show the whole year.
[00:32:41] Hello. Let me write that down. So I’ll forget what I’m editing this the whole, you crawled out of it is that too long, the whole you crawled out of.
[00:32:49] Kim: [00:32:49] That is a good one.
[00:32:51] Donyetta: [00:32:51] The whole, I’m literally writing this down. Y’all gonna see. Cause you gonna watch the video, the whole you crawled out of, and there you have it.
[00:33:00] [00:32:59] All right. That’s the name of the show.
[00:33:02] Kim: [00:33:02] Okay. This is the last show we got to talk about that thumb on Brandy and Monica.
[00:33:08] Donyetta: [00:33:08] No, it’s not, but I’m here for it. You know,
[00:33:15] Kim: [00:33:15] The next verses it, they better bring it. You know, they’re going to go wrap next.
[00:33:21] Donyetta: [00:33:21] Who do you think is going to be? Who puffy and or what if NAS and JC,
[00:33:28] Kim: [00:33:28] not at, you know, how much money not as has money, like not as invested in these tech companies. People think that nods don’t got it. Got it. Like they’ll never be on it.
[00:33:40] You know, how much money is
[00:33:42] Donyetta: [00:33:42] on the billionaire list, right? Cause Jay Z BPS, billionaire,
[00:33:47] Kim: [00:33:47] and I dragged him anyway.
[00:33:51] Donyetta: [00:33:51] Oh Lord, that is hair last week. It was quite of the apes this year. It’s the whole, you crawled out of it. And Jay Z raggedy hair brought to you by Le [00:34:00] Twins Experience.
[00:34:01] Kim: [00:34:01] Listen, JC, that’s going to be the rule, the number one rule to get JC on first is he going to have to get a damn haircut?
[00:34:08] Cause that, you know, Beyonce over there, man, she mad. She’s like, I’m going to put up with this. You know, I’m beyond today, but I gained a little bit of pounds, but I’m gonna put up with this for now, but Jason,
[00:34:21] Donyetta: [00:34:21] but I liked this and say, did you see you haven’t seen black as King yet? Did you. baby. When thick yarn said was doing African dances.
[00:34:32] Y’all y’all already couldn’t mess with Beyonce, but y’all should put, show, came mess with it. Y’all say hello,
[00:34:38] Kim: [00:34:38] Catholic too. But no, Daisy. Needs a damn hair cut. I’m sick of that shit.
[00:34:46] Donyetta: [00:34:46] The name of this show, shouldn’t be sick of that shit. But I already said it’s the whole, you crawled out what I’m
[00:34:54] Kim: [00:34:54] thinking.
[00:34:55] He’s like the girls from the wigs last week, like y’all where y’all wigs back [00:35:00] here. And what is
[00:35:01] Donyetta: [00:35:01] JC thinking with that?
[00:35:02] Kim: [00:35:02] Hey, like, I know you’re a billionaire. You can do whatever the F you want to do, but come on, man. Like. Good Beyonce. Right?
[00:35:10] Donyetta: [00:35:10] It’s not even like, he’s starting like the lot process. I think it’s just mad at, at this point, right?
[00:35:14] Like what I’m trying to picture it, it, let me look. And so I can tell y’all what kind of hairstyle it is. I’ve seen it, but. Isn’t that sticking what must fear it right now?
[00:35:23] Kim: [00:35:23] It looks like the old school dress, how they used to do them back in the day where they just didn’t care. They just put it together and let it go
[00:35:31] Donyetta: [00:35:31] way.
[00:35:32] And Jay Z and in Google it auto-populated JZ hair. 2020 yelling shit. I hate them. Yes,
[00:35:41] Kim: [00:35:41] everybody is looking at that. Terrible here. It’s so bad. Like, Oh,
[00:35:47] Donyetta: [00:35:47] her so much JZ got a new hairstyle and we’re loving it.
[00:35:54] Pinterest. Have you done any live videos?
[00:35:57] Kim: [00:35:57] You better go on somewhere. Whoever [00:36:00] curated that board. Let me send it to me. Soccer comment. Cause you’s a lie.
[00:36:06] Donyetta: [00:36:06] Use a whole different song. That’s the third episode you all, have you seen that? Take top where it said when your mama is. Oh boyfriend getting into an argument.
[00:36:22] He’d be like, I’ll beat everybody ass in his house and then the person, right. Woo.
[00:36:30] I’m going
[00:36:31] Kim: [00:36:31] to take time.
[00:36:33] Donyetta: [00:36:33] Y’all if y’all see that DM it to care, I’m going to send it to her, but y’all I want y’all to deem it to be like, who asked you to be. Everybody in what house? That’s all I saw I’m done yet. I would say, cause when I tell y’all be on 10, sounded like an hour. Okay. I just sent it to you.
[00:36:51] Y’all probably heard that group. Cause we over here on Apple devices y’all know droids and these households for me and my house. How did we get here? [00:37:00] We tell about the fabulous blue fibula, the fabulousness of gladi and Patty. Gladys and Patty and went and got on Jamie’s
[00:37:09] Kim: [00:37:09] here. You know what? I’m be on Pinterest.
[00:37:12] How do I, Oh my God. His hair is
[00:37:16] Donyetta: [00:37:16] they’re calling it dreads, but I have heard that if. We don’t that technically. So how you’re not supposed to say like, uh, well, not supposed, how is politically incorrect to say chinky dreadlocks is politically incorrect. I think it’s just locks because I’ve heard somebody say there’s nothing dreadful about my hair.
[00:37:36] Kim: [00:37:36] That’s for these new lock people, but the gym Jamaicans who started wearing a lot dreads back in the day, they call them dreadlocks. Y’all shorten it. Say
[00:37:46] Donyetta: [00:37:46] I’m locks, I’m typing in dreadlocks or logs in Google. Let me see what we got. Dreads hairstyle has negative implications because of his slave trade history.
[00:37:58] And may imply an unkempt [00:38:00] hair while locks are more of cultural identity, as it is a hair grooming technique, belonging to those of Nubian and African descent locks. Have it tied to your look about them when compared to dreads.
[00:38:14] Kim: [00:38:14] I’m going to need you to Google what they bought. We call his hair.
[00:38:19] Donyetta: [00:38:19] Hey, nothing.
[00:38:20] Cause he was so peaceful. He had time to talk about that.
[00:38:23] Kim: [00:38:23] He didn’t
[00:38:23] Donyetta: [00:38:23] call Bob. Molly to me is one of the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen in my life. And I don’t know if that’s because of his voice or his chill nature. Now, you know what? This bus needed to stop on the tracks because we so often
[00:38:39] Kim: [00:38:39] okay.
[00:38:44] Donyetta: [00:38:44] Did Gladys do if I was your mama, then you a mom, man,
[00:38:49] Kim: [00:38:49] no mat.
[00:38:51] Donyetta: [00:38:51] No, that, that Alicia keys remade that remember, but
[00:38:57] Kim: [00:38:57] I love you and I [00:39:00] need you.
[00:39:03] Donyetta: [00:39:03] No, it was another one pad. I mean, Gladys had that. I forgot. I forgot I was sleeping. I knew I loved it, but I forgot. So that was Patty. Would it glad to say
[00:39:12] Kim: [00:39:12] I had the midnight train to Georgia?
[00:39:15] Donyetta: [00:39:15] Yeah.
[00:39:18] That, but yeah. Blessed our spirits. Thank you ladies so much. They are alive and healthy. And pad was like, I got some paths for you in the back. I was like looking at them. They’re so cute.
[00:39:31] Kim: [00:39:31] I loved it here for it all,
[00:39:34] Donyetta: [00:39:34] all them. All right, ladies and gentlemen, we are now at the bullshit of the week segment, where we tell you all about the bullshit that caught our attention.
[00:39:47] Every time I say that it’s like, we legit introduce it. Like some legit news segment and it is
[00:39:54] Kim: [00:39:54] stop it just doggone Ray, Jeff, we talked about his dog gone sister, Brandy [00:40:00] doggone on Norwest. They just get on my last nerve. I’m telling you Brandy and Ray J wait, what, what did they use to call him? Brandy’s little brother.
[00:40:08] We’re going to call, we’re talking about Brandy’s little brother who filed for divorce from his wife. Princess love is her last name is that
[00:40:19] Donyetta: [00:40:19] really is princess.
[00:40:21] Kim: [00:40:21] Cause you know her. Yeah, this is crazy. That girl, when I used to watch ratchet TV, love and hip hop, she was always into some shit on that
[00:40:29] Donyetta: [00:40:29] show.
[00:40:30] I’ve never seen it. All I know is I’ve seen pictures of her. She from the pictures I’ve seen that thing is drop dead gorgeous, but I don’t think I ever watched and hip hop.
[00:40:39] Kim: [00:40:39] She’s beautiful, but she is a loony tune. The girl is crazy. I never thought that they would get married. Cause they always fought, always fought on that show
[00:40:48] Donyetta: [00:40:48] constantly.
[00:40:49] He was on the show is because she was in a relationship with him. So what does she do? Like what is her like claim to fame?
[00:40:57] Kim: [00:40:57] Um, she she’s Brandy’s little brothers, [00:41:00] this girlfriend slash now wife.
[00:41:02] Donyetta: [00:41:02] So, but how did she get on his radar? Like, does she have a clothing line? Is it cause she’s pretty. Was she a video girl?
[00:41:07] What. Let me see what princess do for a living at home.
[00:41:12] Kim: [00:41:12] I don’t know she had a store.
[00:41:16] Donyetta: [00:41:16] I do remember seeing a snippet. They were in the store, but that might be Rashida story.
[00:41:19] Kim: [00:41:19] Well, she was just some exotic looking woman that Ray J picked up from who knows where? I don’t know. No,
[00:41:26] Donyetta: [00:41:26] she’s a model, a video Vixen and a fashion designer.
[00:41:29] Well, shit I am too.
[00:41:36] The shade, the shade of it all.
[00:41:40] Kim: [00:41:40] That’s it. So this full Brandy’s little brother filed for divorce from princess love, and she found out about it on social media.
[00:41:50] Donyetta: [00:41:50] What’d I say
[00:41:52] Kim: [00:41:52] we’ve had a Rocky relationship from John and she, she filed for divorce a few months ago as well, and then dropped it. [00:42:00] So
[00:42:00] Donyetta: [00:42:00] when he kicked her out of the room in Vegas, while she was pregnant with her, she was pregnant.
[00:42:05] And then she had her daughter with her. Right. And she led his, he kicked her out and blocked her on social
[00:42:10] Kim: [00:42:10] media or something that she said that he left. No, she said he left them, I think in Vegas. Oh, her and her daughter.
[00:42:19] Donyetta: [00:42:19] And she was pregnant with the newest baby, which is a boy
[00:42:24] Kim: [00:42:24] girl that boy’s name is Epic.
[00:42:26] Ray
[00:42:31] Donyetta: [00:42:31] Epic Ray Norwood.
[00:42:33] Kim: [00:42:33] I can’t, I should laugh at the kids, but
[00:42:35] Donyetta: [00:42:35] what are you Epic?
[00:42:37] Kim: [00:42:37] Like what. Let’s say, yeah, I better make sure you have security or bags. So your kids are rich for the rest of the day life. Cause I don’t know how you’re going to get a job, Nick. What’s your name is Epic, which your name is Epic with a name.
[00:42:51] Epic
[00:42:53] Donyetta: [00:42:53] is Epic, literally and figuratively. So what was she doing on love and hip hop? That was so crazy shit.
[00:42:59] Kim: [00:42:59] She was just [00:43:00] arguing with other women all the time, you know, uh, Mariani. Um, did they ever get married? Came in April.
[00:43:08] Donyetta: [00:43:08] And the, what was her name? April.
[00:43:10] Kim: [00:43:10] Yeah, I don’t think they got married, but she was on the show at that time.
[00:43:13] So it was just a mess. It was just messy boots. And you, sometimes you think that they’re acting on the show, but I think that’s how she has in real life. Was her marriage. Hey, they always play out their business on social media. Like
[00:43:29] Donyetta: [00:43:29] why. So, was she arguing with other women about him or is she arguing with other people about her friend, April?
[00:43:36] Uh, Marianna is doc two sons. I think he has sons mother,
[00:43:40] Kim: [00:43:40] all kinds of mess, but you know, Ray J always been out in them streets. Right. Let me tell you, I want
[00:43:45] Donyetta: [00:43:45] to, I said, Ray, Jay is the classic fuck boy, that release of the Kim Kardashians. RayJay sex tape. Let’s have a moment of silence for that, because that’s the bullshit that needs to be all the [00:44:00] bullshit of the week.
[00:44:00] And then we dropped the mic and just y’all have to hear us next week, but I made
[00:44:04] Kim: [00:44:04] her rich and famous.
[00:44:05] Donyetta: [00:44:05] And what you doing, but you remember what radio had that song, but little Kim. Wait a minute
[00:44:11] Kim: [00:44:11] now, wait a minute.
[00:44:13] Donyetta: [00:44:13] Wait. A mean, did it, it didn’t didn’t but yeah, right Jack, we know that. So either Chris generally date or RayJay Lee date, I think it was Ray J and I think he spent some time better because it made her famous and you’re still just rigid.
[00:44:26] Kim: [00:44:26] I think it was Ray J too, but you’d remember, because at that time I just watched Paris Hilton’s documentary on YouTube. Her I
[00:44:35] Donyetta: [00:44:35] can
[00:44:36] Kim: [00:44:36] watch it.
[00:44:38] Donyetta: [00:44:38] I didn’t watch it, but I remember Kim was only known for being Paris, Hilton’s friends, and she used to be a stylist and she used to be Brandy stylist. Now we can’t tell Brandy has stylist.
[00:44:54] This need to be that’s the fourth name of the show, the shade of it all. But yeah, she used to be [00:45:00] Brandy. She’s like organized people’s closets in their wardrobes and stuff. And so I think that’s how Ray J met Kim. It was through his, because he’s Brandon’s little brother.
[00:45:08] Kim: [00:45:08] Exactly. Yeah. So I saw the parents documentary and she had a sex tape that was released well from when her, whoever she was with at that time.
[00:45:18] And she was young, like somewhere between 18 and 20. And I think Kim sex tape was after that. So around that time, that was the time when all the sex tapes were coming out and people were getting famous off of them.
[00:45:32] Donyetta: [00:45:32] So that stopped putting y’alls faces in these photos and tapes,
[00:45:37] Kim: [00:45:37] but that’s probably why Ray J released a sex tape, but wasn’t Kim get paid from the company or did they both get paid a lot of money?
[00:45:47] I
[00:45:47] Donyetta: [00:45:47] don’t think they got paid a lot of money per se. Well, I do think Kris Jenner because Chris Jenner is the ultimate manager. If
[00:45:54] Kim: [00:45:54] you need a mentor, Chris, how can made four and a half million from her sex tape? [00:46:00] Thanks to Joe Joe, who? Joe Francis. He’s the guy from the girls gone wild.
[00:46:09] Donyetta: [00:46:09] That psychopath. I forgot about him, but no, I think that Ray J I think it was, he released it out of like vengeance.
[00:46:17] I don’t know. I wasn’t there, but I think that’s what happened, but it just propelled her and like such a way, like, yeah, it was a lot of flat and yeah, she. Would have preferred that it wasn’t released and she still gets like, flack about it to this day. But it was one of those things where you mentioned from my harm and God used it for my good, so yeah,
[00:46:37] Kim: [00:46:37] we rage.
[00:46:38] I am princess love y’all is a mess. Y’all need to get your act together and keep your business off of social media.
[00:46:45] Donyetta: [00:46:45] Goodness. Right, Jay, I know you had one West, but I got one for you to keep your lights off social media. We don’t need to know
[00:46:53] Kim: [00:46:53] no. We don’t care. Why are we even talking about Brandy’s brother?
[00:46:58] Isn’t that? Brandy’s [00:47:00] brother.
[00:47:01] Donyetta: [00:47:01] All right. You guys and bullshit of the week we got another divorce. Cardi B filed in Atlanta for divorce from offset. I don’t know offset’s real name. I don’t. Well, I know Carter’s name. I, I haven’t read it to pronounce it to you. She’s one of your brothers NATO’s.
[00:47:20] Kim: [00:47:20] Also his name is Cliofas
[00:47:22] Donyetta: [00:47:22] where Sarah.
[00:47:23] Bye. Bye Felicia. Bye. It’s crazy. No, it is not. I’m a type. It says real net. Cat Chiari Kendrick
[00:47:43] Kim: [00:47:43] And what’s her name? Bella kiss. Bella chorus.
[00:47:46] Donyetta: [00:47:46] It sounded like a magic trick.
[00:47:47] Kim: [00:47:47] Bella cop
[00:47:50] Donyetta: [00:47:50] bell. Calice Marlenas Alma Almanzar bell callous Marlena’s Almanza
[00:47:59] Kim: [00:47:59] they name a [00:48:00] damn baby culture. Do a photo culture. I hope y’all saving all y’all coins and set this little girl up for the rest of her life, please.
[00:48:08] Cause culture. I don’t know how coach you’re going to have a resume.
[00:48:15] Donyetta: [00:48:15] Huh? Daniela was rough. So cute.
[00:48:17] Kim: [00:48:17] Well, she is the cutest little thing. Well, her damn Birkin bag,
[00:48:23] Donyetta: [00:48:23] it looks like Cardi. I think she looks like Carney. Who do you think she looks like?
[00:48:26] Kim: [00:48:26] Um, I think she looks, she looks like Cardi.
[00:48:30] Donyetta: [00:48:30] So
[00:48:32] Kim: [00:48:32] we,
[00:48:33] Donyetta: [00:48:33] we, I mean, these internet streets alleged that Cardi was filing for a divorce from offset because he was cheating again.
[00:48:40] Cause you know, he had that sex tape. Remember that time he did not respect her boundaries and bum rushed her concert and apologize on stage. And everybody was like, Oh, that’s so sweet. Oh, that’s so toxic.
[00:48:51] Kim: [00:48:51] Wait, he had a sex tape.
[00:48:53] Donyetta: [00:48:53] Yeah, he’s done a lot of indiscretions. One of them was a sex tape and I think that was like right.
[00:48:58] Three months after they were [00:49:00] married. I don’t know if that’s why he bummed, rushed her concert and apologize. And on stage. Remember that?
[00:49:06] Kim: [00:49:06] I remember when he did that, but wait, now Cardi is saying that, Oh, I filed for divorce because we argue a lot. But what y’all arguing about though, is it because he’s like in the streets, what are, y’all toxic,
[00:49:19] Donyetta: [00:49:19] probably stupid taxes, but they remember.
[00:49:22] They remember her court case was because some women alleged that car to be put like a hit on them, like wanting somebody to attack them or assault them because of an alleged, uh, affair with offset. And so that’s why she was going to court all those times. And I don’t think they’ve reached a verdict in that.
[00:49:39] So it’s just toxic. But Cardi says that they did not, she did not file for divorce. She did it here in Atlanta. Because of cheating. She said she just got tired of them argument all the time.
[00:49:50] Kim: [00:49:50] And this is why this is the bullshit of the week. Cause that’s some bullshit. Yeah. Oh yeah. Divorced them because you’re arguing a lot.
[00:49:59] Donyetta: [00:49:59] It depends.
[00:50:02] [00:50:00] Kim: [00:50:02] Yeah. You not divorce him because you’re arguing you didn’t divorce it because of the topic of the argument. Right.
[00:50:08] Donyetta: [00:50:08] You ain’t gonna tell us that, cause that ain’t our business. We don’t know what they argued about. We just know that.
[00:50:13] Kim: [00:50:13] So either keep it real and say what you’re arguing about, or don’t say anything at all.
[00:50:18] You need to be like the white people by white people will, I mean, WWI, P E P
[00:50:23] Donyetta: [00:50:23] O. Why do white people, why white, Dwight Dwight’s people?
[00:50:28] Kim: [00:50:28] Why people keep your business out the streets?
[00:50:31] Donyetta: [00:50:31] Like what? You sort of put it in the streets for her. Like I live in Atlanta and I want to hang it down at the courthouse that she thought that, but somebody gets that thing and ran with it.
[00:50:40] But whole news travels fast. That’s the name of this ever show episode home news travels fast,
[00:50:47] Kim: [00:50:47] but look, five, put the forest. And keep your FM mouth shut. You don’t have to respond. People are gonna say, say what they want to say. They’re going to assume just don’t respond. You’re you’re giving it like she responded.
[00:50:58] And now there’s articles [00:51:00] about her response.
[00:51:01] Donyetta: [00:51:01] Beyonce did not tell y’all nothing. Y’all got lemonade and. A video of saliva, JZ finding the elevator. That’s all you want. It’s
[00:51:09] Kim: [00:51:09] shallot. So lodge took it to JZ his ass in that elevator. Did Beyonce say fiance kept him moving? She’s like, yeah. And kept it right.
[00:51:19] Donyetta: [00:51:19] I didn’t know me.
[00:51:19] I say was in the elevator until like the last 30 seconds of the video when I felt like this. She was on the wall. Like she was like, you deserve this shit. I ain’t got that’s what you like, I can, but Cardi always has, like, even though she is like very much so famous and wealthy, she always has felt the need to address.
[00:51:42] Haters and people on the internet, whereas some of us are like Beyonce. And as far as y’all know, it ain’t bothering me.
[00:51:49] Kim: [00:51:49] You know what? She’s still young. And I think that once
[00:51:52] Donyetta: [00:51:52] she is in her twenties, isn’t
[00:51:54] Kim: [00:51:54] it. So once she gets older and somebody she’ll learn to like, let some of this stuff go because it’s [00:52:00] just, it’s not where either she wants the attention, which could be.
[00:52:06] This,
[00:52:07] Donyetta: [00:52:07] but yeah, if she is in her twenties, like y’all know these were millennials, what’s these other children generation Z B B12. They always feel like they got a pop off. They always feel like they gotta say something so I can get it. But what’s up with these. This is like part 2.0 bullshit of the week.
[00:52:25] What’s up with these people saying that the reason she filed for divorce is because he was cheating and apparently she ain’t got that walk. Cause he’s cheating. Where did y’all come up with that? That’s stupid.
[00:52:36] Kim: [00:52:36] I just make shit up as they go along. Oh,
[00:52:39] Donyetta: [00:52:39] a man or a woman cheating on you has nothing to do with your sex.
[00:52:42] Oregon’s I promise y’all and anybody who is listening to this and you’ve been cheated on, do not internalize what other people do. But yeah, whether or not Cardi B has wa pop or Cod, it has nothing to do with
[00:53:03] [00:53:00] phrasing, phrasing, phrasing. Y’all know what I meant. It has nothing to do with if offset cheating, and, and this goes for men and women, when people cheat, that’s a personal decision, it has nothing to do with who they cheated on. And if the relationship is so bad that you need to cheat leave. So, yeah, Cardi released a statement of people magazine, but you know, she got paid people, they pay you for, for statements.
[00:53:27] And she said, y’all, please don’t feel bad about her. She has not cried that Nan nary, as we say in Alabama, that Nan nary tear, she just got tired of it arguing. So,
[00:53:36] Kim: [00:53:36] you know,
[00:53:37] Donyetta: [00:53:37] Here’s what
[00:53:40] Kim: [00:53:40] I’m good. I need her to get her coins. Cause she says she doesn’t need his child support. She doesn’t need his alimony or that get yo coins card.
[00:53:48] He put that up in a trust plan for your baby girl. Cause you never know what’s going to happen. Get them coins. He does not get to walk away from this. Scot-free he buying Birkin. He buying three, four, five Birkin [00:54:00] bags all the time. You bet cashing them bags and to get your coins girl, don’t be like doctor J’s wife.
[00:54:11] what
[00:54:12] Donyetta: [00:54:12] I said, dr. Dre wife, trying to get her. She should have had
[00:54:15] Kim: [00:54:15] her coin stacked or ready. Oh, you can’t be mad. Cause the bro turn off your black card. You should have had a backup for that. So Cardi gets your coins, put it up for your baby girl. You may need that one day. You never know.
[00:54:28] Donyetta: [00:54:28] You can tell the tree by the fruit that it there.
[00:54:30] So. Not toxic relationships for everybody. It’s one it’s one. Cause I’m yeah, I’m here for
[00:54:36] Kim: [00:54:36] it. You shouldn’t have never married Chiari. Ken Drell Cephus who named you?
[00:54:43] Donyetta: [00:54:43] She shouldn’t have met him. Cause when his mama and daddy named him.
[00:54:46] Kim: [00:54:46] Yes.
[00:54:48] Donyetta: [00:54:48] Wow.
[00:54:53] Kim: [00:54:53] Listen, what am I pressed? She works at HR. I said I could never work at HR. Cause as soon as I see these [00:55:00] names come across my desk for job X, how you not getting past the inbox? Like, Hmm,
[00:55:07] Donyetta: [00:55:07] well, you know, like with me, I work in finance and this. A predominantly like white industry. And so I remember like when I first moved to the Atlanta area and I had gotten the job, I was talking to some white coworkers and I was like, you know, when you see my resume and you see Donyetta, Insert last name.
[00:55:25] You pretty much have a general idea that that’s an ethnic name and the white guy that I was working with at the time, he was like, that’s not what I thought at all. So when I saw your resume, I was like, she’s really smart. Look at her GPA. You ain’t got to lie. You do not see Donyetta. I mean, yeah. My GPA was really high and I was really smart, but brah pretty much have an idea.
[00:55:48] Who’s going to show up to the interview. So
[00:55:52] Kim: [00:55:52] some names.
[00:55:53] Donyetta: [00:55:53] I’m here for the complicated names, because I have a name that is not traditional. I’ve never seen my name on a [00:56:00] shot glass and a baby book where it tells you the name, the, the meaning of your name on it. If my name was on a tee shirt it’s cause I paid
[00:56:08] Kim: [00:56:08] look
[00:56:09] Donyetta: [00:56:09] on there.
[00:56:10] Kim: [00:56:10] That’s social media documentary on Netflix. This guy, his name was Tristan and he was a white boy, but it was spelled Tristin. Your name is Tristan. BU it’s not Triston.
[00:56:22] Donyetta: [00:56:22] It’s his name is Mark Keith, but Joe, I know you
[00:56:30] Kim: [00:56:30] that’s the hotel Marriott Marquis you not
[00:56:33] Donyetta: [00:56:33] you. Hello? Yeah. So she should have married him because his name Kim, but
[00:56:40] Kim: [00:56:40] what is the, I can’t even remember.
[00:56:42] All I remember is the Cliofas part like
[00:56:44] Donyetta: [00:56:44] witnesses. Let me pull it back up. His name is John deleted that hold on. I’ll set off. Whoop whoop whoop
[00:56:52] Kim: [00:56:52] whoop
[00:56:53] Donyetta: [00:56:53] whoop boujee. Yes.
[00:56:55] Kim: [00:56:55] Offset. Boom, boom.
[00:57:00] [00:57:00] Donyetta: [00:57:00] He P H U S is his last. So it’s her real name? Bella. CFUs now. And she took his last name. Oh, I don’t like it.
[00:57:09] Kim: [00:57:09] Culture and CFUs.
[00:57:11] Donyetta: [00:57:11] Culture is I’m talking about Cardi. Did she change her name?
[00:57:15] Kim: [00:57:15] Oh, I hope not.
[00:57:17] Donyetta: [00:57:17] Chiari Ken Josephus. I don’t like it, but that’s not, I’m not going to say she shouldn’t have married him cause of his name.
[00:57:25] Kim: [00:57:25] Perfect match bell Collis. Marlene is Alman Dar well
[00:57:31] Donyetta: [00:57:31] out their parents Dabora
[00:57:33] Kim: [00:57:33] their parents used to have them when they were team. Both of them. And more bullshit of the week.
[00:57:43] Donyetta: [00:57:43] Bullshit is exactly what it is.
[00:57:45] Kim: [00:57:45] Briana Taylor’s family got $12 million from the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Now, first of all, her life is worth more than $12 million.
[00:58:01] [00:58:00] Donyetta: [00:58:01] Preach preach, preach
[00:58:03] Kim: [00:58:03] that’s number one. Number two is why to F have they haven’t they arrested the officers that killed her? Hmm.
[00:58:12] Donyetta: [00:58:12] Yeah. I just got goosebumps and that like I did with Patty and glass. That’s disgusting.
[00:58:17] Kim: [00:58:17] So is this like to placate them? So they are like fall back on. You know, the protests and keeping her name out there so that the officers do get prosecuted.
[00:58:28] Is that what this is and who gets that $12 million anyway, is it
[00:58:33] Donyetta: [00:58:33] taxed? So at the end of the day, I know, but I speak for a lot of us. We are not taking our foot off this gas pedal. Now we’re going to keep our foot on y’alls next until y’all arrest the police officers that killed Brianna Taylor. And at the end of the day is 12 million, a lot of money.
[00:58:50] Heck. Yeah. That’s like a lot of winners, but I promise you, I promise you, her mom would much preferred that her daughter still be alive and [00:59:00] well, then that little measly, $12 million that y’all can keep,
[00:59:04] Kim: [00:59:04] you know, and they also added as part of the settlement, certain police reforms they were added into.
[00:59:12] You know, I just, I have no words for this. I mean, I’m happy that her family. Has gotten this money and I’m sure this is going to help them tremendously, but the money doesn’t bring Brianna back,
[00:59:28] Donyetta: [00:59:28] it doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t help the hurt. It doesn’t help the trauma. It doesn’t help the pain like, and if you’re doing police, if you’re giving money and they’ve passed the Brianna’s law, I remember that happened very early on after the poet became aware of her murder.
[00:59:43] And that’s what we’re going to call it a murder. Um, but if you’re doing police reform, And you acknowledged that things need to be changed. Then why have you not arrested the cops? Like I’ve seen pictures of the police officers on freaking vacation at the beach, since this has happened. Like, what are [01:00:00] y’all we’re not taking our foot off this gas.
[01:00:02] We’re not taking our foot off y’alls next. And we’re not going to forget. I, and I, I hope we’re not talking about this in 2021, but if we have to, okay,
[01:00:11] Kim: [01:00:11] we will now, you know what I was just wondering if there’s still. If they maybe had something in the agreement saying that they would drop, you know, their quest to arrest the officers, but it, in this article, it does say that their attorney is moving forward and still pushing for criminal charges against the officers.
[01:00:31] So
[01:00:32] Donyetta: [01:00:32] damn straight.
[01:00:34] Kim: [01:00:34] Yeah. I just hope that’s something.
[01:00:40] Donyetta: [01:00:40] How do we have so many eyes on this? How do we have so many news outlets, um, reporting about this? How do we have so many celebrities speaking out about this injustice and nothing has happened
[01:00:52] Kim: [01:00:52] because they don’t give a F they do not give it that’s the bottom line. You know, these, the officers are gonna look [01:01:00] out for each other and themselves, the prosecutor.
[01:01:04] Remember they were at his house protesting. Yancey got arrested. Um, Porsha Williams. They were in front of his house protesting.
[01:01:14] Donyetta: [01:01:14] I remember Porsche for real Housewives of Atlanta did get arrested. Oh, I didn’t know. That’s what she was arrested for. Good for you Portia
[01:01:21] Kim: [01:01:21] because, well, bell, yeah, it’s been six long months since Brianna lost her life for no reason at all.
[01:01:29] So hopefully
[01:01:30] Donyetta: [01:01:30] we are so sorry. This has taken so
[01:01:33] Kim: [01:01:33] on to more positive news. Carrie Washington finally got her first at me.
[01:01:40] Donyetta: [01:01:40] Is that positive? What the hell? It’s like so long.
[01:01:42] Kim: [01:01:42] You should’ve got an Emmy for scandal early scandal. Cause scandal. That was mushy
[01:01:48] Donyetta: [01:01:48] scandal is why I started drinking red wine. But yeah.
[01:01:53] How was she just not
[01:01:54] Kim: [01:01:54] getting her first and
[01:01:55] Donyetta: [01:01:55] then what did she get it for?
[01:01:57] Kim: [01:01:57] It’s not even for acting as for producing. [01:02:00] Yeah. All in the family and good times. It was an ABC special.
[01:02:06] Donyetta: [01:02:06] I didn’t know it was, I thought you were gonna say American son or something, but she was acting it. You know what?
[01:02:13] Kim: [01:02:13] That’s simple.
[01:02:14] Donyetta: [01:02:14] I’ve never even heard of this project. And that doesn’t mean anything. Cause I have told y’all I don’t watch TV. I haven’t watched, I can count on my fingers. How many times I’ve watched TV in 2020 and it’s but what is
[01:02:28] Kim: [01:02:28] the bull? I mean, congratulations too hard, but yeah. Recognize us when we deserve to be, I mean, she always deserved to be recognized, but when she really deserved and when she was killing it on scandal, like that’s when y’all should have gave her.
[01:02:45] Donyetta: [01:02:45] I believe some of them in that child, we’re all with it. Tyler, if you call us and we can record at your studio,
[01:02:56] Kim: [01:02:56] hello. That’s when they should have [01:03:00] gave her, her props when she was on scandal, killing it every week and girl. What’s her name? Olivia Pope Pope. You said dress her behind or homegirl
[01:03:12] Donyetta: [01:03:12] was
[01:03:12] Kim: [01:03:12] white house tan, tan it up and 10 the president down in the white house and
[01:03:19] Donyetta: [01:03:19] had a, because of the way Olivia poked dress, there was a line at New York and company.
[01:03:24] Yeah. The only person that dress better than Alivia Pope is posh spice. I know that that damn Victoria bathroom can dress
[01:03:32] Kim: [01:03:32] away. Now she know posh last week. She ain’t no POS
[01:03:36] Donyetta: [01:03:36] I know. I don’t know who
[01:03:38] Kim: [01:03:38] posture back.
[01:03:38] Donyetta: [01:03:38] What was that name? Patch box. Beck’s passion. What’s this thing like we’re black people only get Emmys and Oscars.
[01:03:47] Well, I don’t know what her show was about that she had the Emmy for, but I know it was a big controversy when Denzel Washington got his Oscar for trying a day where he said the N word 50, 11 times,
[01:03:57] Kim: [01:03:57] because it’s not the typical [01:04:00] movie that they get. Oscar, you know, training day was gritty, was about dirty cops, drugs, all kind of shit.
[01:04:06] But he said,
[01:04:07] Donyetta: [01:04:07] and we’re in, we’re in, we’re in, we’re in, we’re like. He used the N word more than I don’t even, I can’t. They get anything that has used the N word more than racist, white police officers in the U S have a galley. Berry got an Oscar or a Grammy wasn’t no dang Grammy’s music. Oscar. When she was for the role she played was she laid up under, okay.
[01:04:29] Caucasian male.
[01:04:31] Kim: [01:04:31] What was that?
[01:04:33] Donyetta: [01:04:33] Monster’s ball.
[01:04:34] Kim: [01:04:34] Oh, he Africa,
[01:04:36] Donyetta: [01:04:36] Billy Bob
[01:04:36] Kim: [01:04:36] Thornton. Ooh.
[01:04:38] Donyetta: [01:04:38] So yeah, people were like, why is this these two very talented and proclaim actors? Why are these the roles that they’re getting recognized for some bullshit? Like, what’s that movie it’s not broke back mountain. It’s the movie about the black men and they [01:05:00] are.
[01:05:00] I don’t want to necessarily say on the download, but they had two black men had sex it’s in the movie and they got an award for that.
[01:05:12] It’s not broke back mountain that’s
[01:05:14] Kim: [01:05:14] rough mountain neighborhood white. That was Jake Gyllenhaal. And, um,
[01:05:18] Donyetta: [01:05:18] keep ledger. They won an Oscar for the movie. It is Moonlight. Remember Moonlight.
[01:05:28] Kim: [01:05:28] I never saw that.
[01:05:30] Donyetta: [01:05:30] So Moonlight was a movie about like, uh, black men who are perceived to be masculine. Um, but they are gay.
[01:05:37] So there’s like a big misconception, I think about what, uh, gay men, but like exterior or the persona that they put on, especially like black gay men. And so I do remember that movie. I’m winning awards. And again, so it’s like what Monster’s ball, um, training day and Moonlight. Why is, why are none of the [01:06:00] positive and I’m not going to say that being a black masculine gay man is not positive.
[01:06:04] Um, cause what did Patty and Gladys say? We’re all important. Remember they gave the shout out to the gate.
[01:06:11] Kim: [01:06:11] We love LBGT.
[01:06:13] Donyetta: [01:06:13] He love them. They keep us going and we are all important. So like, I wouldn’t dare say, like, that’s not like a positive image, but I think the, the thing that I remember of the buzz being on social media was, is like, how come?
[01:06:27] Like for all the other types of black. Personas, we don’t want awards for those shows. Um,
[01:06:34] Kim: [01:06:34] you know, a part of the problem is, is that the people who vote for these awards, they don’t look like us. You know? So they’re voting for what they know in love, not for what we know and love, which is part of the problem,
[01:06:51] Donyetta: [01:06:51] which is why Beyonce has never won album of the year.
[01:06:53] And I can tell you all eliminate information.
[01:06:57] Kim: [01:06:57] She had what was
[01:06:58] Donyetta: [01:06:58] four? She has [01:07:00] visual albums with a freaking video for every song. And it’s like watching the color purple because it’s pretty much a movie. And even Adele that year that a duck. So Kanye West interrupted Taylor to let y’all know. But even Adele, when she won over Beyonce, she said, what does she have to do to win album of the year?
[01:07:17] She said, I voted for a Beyonce.
[01:07:19] Kim: [01:07:19] But you know what that’s cause people are haters. Y’all need to stop hate you. Stop mother F and hate, but you know what be office should’ve won that damn Emmy for dream girls too.
[01:07:29] Donyetta: [01:07:29] Now I ain’t going to say, Hey cam, now dream girl, shit. But that does not mean to be an actress.
[01:07:38] You
[01:07:38] Kim: [01:07:38] gave Jennifer since all of those awards. Cause she’s saying in scream to ask so up, but you didn’t get Beyonce, nothing. Come on.
[01:07:47] Donyetta: [01:07:47] She shouldn’t be upset. Beyonce. I love girls. Let me tell, y’all be, I say, I love you. I have gone to every concert as a solo artist that you’ve had, including the concerts with your [01:08:00] husband.
[01:08:00] I have not missed that. Nan. Mary concert. And I watched all your movies, but that bad you was not going to win an award for after no time. Soon
[01:08:14] cream puff. VSA is not a good actress.
[01:08:17] Kim: [01:08:17] Okay. She’s not the best actress, but it was a musical.
[01:08:20] Donyetta: [01:08:20] I don’t care. She’s still had talking scenes now, Jennifer Hudson, I don’t listen to her albums, but she can act and sing Beyonce. Nope. That ready?
[01:08:33] Kim: [01:08:33] That’s a Beyonce can do no wrong. Y’all going to give her her. She wants to, he got the Emmy, the Grammy, the ASCA, the Tony y’all gonna give Beyonce, her
[01:08:43] Donyetta: [01:08:43] present be Goldberg has that.
[01:08:46] And Barbara Streisand and John Lee, how much it has
[01:08:49] Kim: [01:08:49] it. That’s what
[01:08:51] Donyetta: [01:08:51] I think would be. And Barbara stress and
[01:08:53] Kim: [01:08:53] habit too. Yeah. How about y’all early in his career? He got EEG. O T [01:09:00] John legend. Got it. Quick.
[01:09:03] Donyetta: [01:09:03] But no, like y’all, ain’t never heard me say nothing bad about a queen bee, but limited.
[01:09:08] Kim: [01:09:08] Okay. You got it is officially out of the beehive.
[01:09:11] We
[01:09:16] Donyetta: [01:09:16] When I was in undergrad, I knew BSA was a star when Destiny’s child was out. And I remember my roommate, my last sister roommate at the time at undergrad, said, Don, yet I will pay you $20. If you do not play, say my name again. I was like, note, say my name saying that Oop, we ask, we can’t sign your songs
[01:09:35] Kim: [01:09:35] to do.
[01:09:35] Yeah. I’m about to go to Don yet. His last post and comment is gram grab
[01:09:42] Donyetta: [01:09:42] some dead bees on it, but no. So it was a yellow bar. She got a yellow shirt or. Hold on when they were saying, like, get on the bus, remember that from wild foods, follow love soundtrack. Yeah, I’ve been [01:10:00] with the beehive, but we going call it a thing, a thing.
[01:10:04] I love you, but no, be you ain’t, you ain’t acting. What was that movie with eaters? Alba, where she had them horrible lies.
[01:10:12] Kim: [01:10:12] No one was terrible, but listen, I want y’all to go to Diane Jada’s post where she’s holding up the share, pay with the yellow shirt.
[01:10:21] Donyetta: [01:10:21] It puts some BS,
[01:10:25] I believe in test y’all. If y’all listen to this. The bees
[01:10:30] Kim: [01:10:30] on it, the bees matcha shirt, we go to swarm hop posts.
[01:10:35] Donyetta: [01:10:35] Yeah, I’ll go help. Get my engagement up. Do it. Wait, I’m gonna take my life back. Hold up. 10 then I’m going to just go to the podcast. I really like it. I would say, wait, cause she got
[01:10:51] Kim: [01:10:51] 3,000 to
[01:10:52] Donyetta: [01:10:52] 80 lights.
[01:10:53] Now you got 1,370. I’m taking my life.
[01:10:58] Yes. Home [01:11:00] ownership. Yeah, no look we have, we know. We know BSA well ask, but it don’t matter. Y’all I promise Beyonce I’ve paid $400 for some of your concerts, just so some of your sweat, it hit my face, but you’re acting.
[01:11:18] Kim: [01:11:18] Y’all here and all this right. Go put some bees on her
[01:11:20] Donyetta: [01:11:20] post
[01:11:24] Tallah. Hopefully tell her like bees and he do hashtag bees. And then maybe Tyler Perry follows that hashtag. I was going to take this
[01:11:33] Kim: [01:11:33] clip and I’m gonna send it to Charlemagne the God and he’s going to repeat it.
[01:11:38] Donyetta: [01:11:38] He gone agree. He’s probably going to get the asked them donkey of the
[01:11:42] Kim: [01:11:42] day. He always says he’s a, I’m a Carter Winfrey knows whatever he loves Beyonce.
[01:11:48] Donyetta: [01:11:48] Winfrey
[01:11:49] Kim: [01:11:49] Oprah. Yeah. He’s he’s he thinks he’s now Oprah’s family, Beyonce, his family. He’s a Carter. I’m free NOLs.
[01:11:58] Donyetta: [01:11:58] Leah Charlotte may know. [01:12:00] Yeah. I love you. I said, I love Beyonce since. Destiny’s child when they was, what was that first song you’d be singing. No, no, no, no,
[01:12:08] Kim: [01:12:08] no.
[01:12:10] Donyetta: [01:12:10] Do all the remixes.
[01:12:13] Kim: [01:12:13] This is the remix.
[01:12:15] Donyetta: [01:12:15] Wow. Gave me, I say a whole $5 bill right now. Cause we just say like follow her song.
[01:12:20] Kim: [01:12:20] Stop, stop. Oh my God. You need to go back on tour. Beyonce. I’m sick of this shit. Shoot.
[01:12:34] I should just go into Vegas. Beyonce could go YAPA to sent us one seat two MTCs the next seat make it happen.
[01:12:41] Donyetta: [01:12:41] And I say, as husband, as a billionaire, and she’s probably closed maybe earlier money or sure
[01:12:48] Kim: [01:12:48] are sir
[01:12:52] Donyetta: [01:12:52] Vegas is where people go to die. Oh, what’s the word. That’s where you go to die. Respectable death. It’s [01:13:00] like Chloe was that her name, Chloe at the end of the set it off. That was a respectable deaf young lady. When she was, she pulled up, I started shooting him guns. She had to smoke a cigarette first. That was a respectable Vivica, a Fox that was a respectable death.
[01:13:16] And this is what Vegas is for people who sing.
[01:13:19] Kim: [01:13:19] Aw, you got to leave us your low.
[01:13:23] Donyetta: [01:13:23] I want to, but you want to go see this damn concert? So I might be there. I want to leave or shit all the way along. Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, before we end, we would like to pay tribute and give acknowledgement to the unfortunate passing of Ruth.
[01:13:44] Ginsburg is that how you pronounce it?
[01:13:46] Kim: [01:13:46] Ruth Bader Ginsburg and notorious R B G you know, she’s, she’s she bought and sold the very end. You know, she was battling pancreatic cancer for so [01:14:00] long and she just, she held out as long as she could and, and RBG, even she officiated a wedding not too long ago. Did you see those pictures?
[01:14:11] Donyetta: [01:14:11] I didn’t know that
[01:14:13] Kim: [01:14:13] she officiated a wedding, it popped up on sweater. And I said, what? I said, this woman, she is just so strong. And she was just, she’s been going through it for a long time. So,
[01:14:25] Donyetta: [01:14:25] wow. I said that I felt like she was holding on as long as she could. Um, until we elected a new president. So, uh, thank you for your contribution.
[01:14:35] Thank you for always standing up and fighting for women’s rights. Um, and thank you for holding on as well, as long as you could. And hopefully this administration does at least one respectable thing on their way out and just like you wouldn’t let president Barack Obama’s nominee for Supreme court be voted on until we had a new president.
[01:14:57] I hope you have that same. [01:15:00] Energy, um, when it comes to replacing this irreplaceable, um, woman,
[01:15:06] Kim: [01:15:06] well, you know, Trump and his flunky McConnell have already said that they want to feel bad seed as soon as possible. So I need to know, and the Democrats
[01:15:16] Donyetta: [01:15:16] until eight hours, they didn’t even wait eight. I’m going to say they didn’t where they really,
[01:15:20] Kim: [01:15:20] they barely waited two hours.
[01:15:22] Like these men have no couth. No class, no heart, no soul. They are the worst despicable people on earth. Like you couldn’t even weigh into it next day to say you couldn’t even wait a week. You couldn’t even wait until this one woman has been laid to rest before you’re bringing up filling her seat. So let’s get 45 out of office in 45 days.
[01:15:50] Do your part. I need y’all to stop black people stop saying home and saying that your vote doesn’t count because it does. Hold on. Let me, let me find this [01:16:00] statistic that I saw with the small amount of votes that Trump won by. And how many blacks feels like
[01:16:09] Donyetta: [01:16:09] home. Like you don’t have to vote every vote matters.
[01:16:13] And for all of my, um, This morning and sorority chapter meeting. We were talking about that how many people have not completed the 20, 20 census? And so I want to encourage everybody, buddy. You have, um, a couple of weeks to do so. Please continue. The 2020 census, the census is important. It helps account for legislators in your specific area.
[01:16:37] It helps account for money that the government gives to. Fun certain activities that need to go on in our respective areas. And so don’t think that the census is trying to steal your information. Don’t think that is some evil plot of the government to learn more about you. It really does make a difference and I want to encourage every single one of [01:17:00] you, if you have not already done so complete the 20, 20 census.
[01:17:03] And I would also encourage you to ask at least three people. If they have completed the census as well, I want every single one of you to go out and vote. And if you can make sure somebody has a ride to get to either early voting, absentee voting, make sure they request it balance you guys. We have to get out and do our part.
[01:17:23] Like we are not just innocent bystanders. Watching life passes by yes, God is in control, but we also have to be good stewards of the freewill and opportunity that he gives each and every one of
[01:17:33] Kim: [01:17:33] us. Exactly. And you know what? I’m just going to call out. A few States started with Georgia, says Donyetta lives there.
[01:17:41] Donyetta: [01:17:41] I live here. I’m not from here. We don’t want to
[01:17:43] Kim: [01:17:43] start with something else though. We going to start with Georgia. Okay. Alabama might be in here too. Probably Trump won Georgia by 211,000 votes, but 530,000 black people did not vote in [01:18:00] Atlanta. That breaks my heart. Y’all Florida. Trump won by 113,000 votes, but 379 black people did not vote in Florida.
[01:18:12] We did our part in New York. I’m just saying
[01:18:16] Donyetta: [01:18:16] it, but you know, Georgia has not voted blue since bill Clinton was president,
[01:18:24] Kim: [01:18:24] but didn’t Barack Obama gift, Florida.
[01:18:28] Donyetta: [01:18:28] That was around the time Florida, their bullshit and elections were starting to surface. You remember? They were not counting votes. It was a lot Florida and their voting process is a mess.
[01:18:38] Um, So I can’t recall if president Obama won Florida night, they just had the distractions.
[01:18:45] Kim: [01:18:45] But the moral of this story is, is that I stopped saying that bullshit about your vote. Doesn’t count your vote counts. Get out and vote. Early. Voting is starting. You don’t want to wait on lines and election day, then go early, vote, every vote counts, and [01:19:00] we need it more.
[01:19:00] Now y’all want to be in Kobe forever. Y’all want y’all president running around saying you don’t got to wear a mask.
